Very disappointing/frustrating customer service I leased a 2017 Elantra on August 10th. My temporary plates were set to expire September 8th. I was told I'd receive a call when my plates came in. On September 8th I called because I never heard from anyone about my plates coming in. I left my salesperson a message and he never returned my call. I called back September 9th and was told no one would be able to speak with me (even though my salesperson was in, he was with a customer), left the receptionist my name and number, and was told I'd get a call back. After 2 hours of no response, I called back again, had to hold for 10 min and was given another salesperson whom I never even worked with. He checked everything out and said he didn't know why my plates weren't in and that nothing seemed wrong. He said I'd have to wait until Monday the 11th to know what was going on with them. I said now have to drive to work with expired temporary plates on the car and hope I don't get pulled over: he said that would be "my call" as if I have a choice. More
