Good experience Jose Matos was my salesperson. Very good, low pressure. Kept working the deal, but not in a bad way at all. I got more for my trade than I expected, Jose Matos was my salesperson. Very good, low pressure. Kept working the deal, but not in a bad way at all. I got more for my trade than I expected, and they did not hide any costs, or go through any bait and switches. There were only a few things that caused a little concern. 1. It took forever for them to see if they could match/beat my pre-approved financing. They did, but only by 1/10th of a percentage point after an hour and a half. 2. Not crazy about the reconditioning fee they charge for certified vehicles. Their website does disclose it, but only if you scroll down to the very bottom, and there is no indication of how much it is ($895). This is roughly the same as other dealerships that I dealt with who charged a fee like this. Some called it reconditioning, some called it a certification fee. My argument is that if you're going to charge a set fee on all of your cars it should be included in the listed price, not mentioned at the bottom of the website. When I brought this up to the manager, he was upfront and flatly said that the purpose of the internet price is to get people to visit the dealership. Not unusual, but it still rubs me the wrong way. 3. In the same vein, when talking price the agent and the manager both mentioned that the internet price was too low and must have been the result of an error, but that they would "honor" it. That's just a bunch of crock and everybody knows it. See point 2 -- the price is intentionally low to get people in the door. Bottom line is that the vehicle was very nice, it was priced very fairly (even with the fees), and the experience itself was friendly and professional. More
