Horrible Manager I had a horrible experience at Towne Hyundai. I brought my car in because the TPMS light came on Dec. 23. The service team looked at the car, and th I had a horrible experience at Towne Hyundai. I brought my car in because the TPMS light came on Dec. 23. The service team looked at the car, and the light went out. I figured everything was fine. Then on Dec. 24 the light came on again. I brought in the car before 12 PM, but I was told that the Service Dept. was closed. Someone put some air in one of my tires, which looked low. I was told that I could not be given a loaner car because the Service Dept. was closed. The light went off for a little while, but in an hour or so, it was on again. I took the car to Mavis Discount Tire. They confirmed that my back tire had gone down to 12 pounds of pressure and that one of my tired sensors was bad. However, they could not help me because I had not been given a wheel lock. I would have to break the lock on the tires in order for them to check the tires. When I called Town Hyundai, someone answered who said everyone else had left and there was nothing he could do. He told me to call Roadside Assistance. Roadside Assistance told me that all they could do was have my car towed to the Hyundai dealer, which would have left me stranded because the dealer could not give me a loaner. I ended up driving my car home and borrowing a relative's car to travel for Christmas. When I went out on Dec. 26 in order to take the car back to the dealer for service, the back tire was completely flat, and the car had to be towed to the Hyundai dealer. To make matters worse, this is a certified car that I purchased on Dec. 16. I am very disappointed by the lack of care with which my service was performed on Dec. 23. In addition, the manager Jeff Angulo was very rude to me. I called my salesperson, Jose Matos, an hour and a half before I arrived at the dealer on Dec. 26 to let him know that I wanted to get a smaller, new car due to the trouble I had with this vehicle. Mr. Matos was one of the only positive aspects of this experience, by the way. He was sympathetic and said he would speak to the manager regarding my request. In addition to the problem on Dec. 23 - 26, I also had to bring it for service on Dec. 20. Mr. Angulo let me wait until he finished working with another customer when I arrived at the dealership. When I expressed my frustration, he said that getting another car was not possible. He was very nasty. He said that I could not speak to anyone else besides him because Hyundai is a corporation. If I wanted to speak to someone, I could look up the name of the dealer's owner on the Internet. He said he would drive the car to my house if I left it there. If I called the police for him trespassing on my property, he would leave the car in front of the house, which I am assuming would mean that he would park it in the street. At this point, I never want to deal with Mr. Angulo or the Hyundai service team again. More

I loved the 2012 Sonata SE 2.0T I leased from Jose 3 years ago. Working with Jose as my first Hyundai experience was outstanding. Since I left that day I said, "Jose is not your ~stereotypical~ car salesman." He was such a pleasure to work with, desiring to make me, his customer, happy with no pressure, but also paying close attention to make sure my needs from the car I needed and deal I was comfortable with were met. After the the fabulous sales service from Jose and all the friendly and customer oriented Service Staff department along the way, I wanted to stay with Hyundai based on the 2012 Sonata I have been driving for 3 years...and actually wanted to keep my car! I was sad to see my 3 year lease coming to an end on this great car! Thank you, Jose Matos, for making it possible to put me in to my new 2015 Sonata Sport 2.0T this month!! I couldn't be happier!!!
