Took my car in to have some detail work done on it and came out with more scratches on it than when I took it in. They sent it through an older car wash and the car ended up with scratches on the hood tha came out with more scratches on it than when I took it in. They sent it through an older car wash and the car ended up with scratches on the hood that were never there before. They tried to fix them but some were not fixed well. In the end they denied it was their fault. More

The situation was heading toward a very poor outcome. Bobby stepped in afterward and completely turned the experience around. He took the time to listen to everything that had happened, acknowledged the issues, and followed through exactly as promised. He coordinated repairs, provided a loaner vehicle, stayed in communication, and made sure every issue was fully resolved — including things discovered after I took the car home. Because of Bobby’s professionalism, accountability, and genuine effort to make things right, what could have been a one-star experience became a five-star one. Freak Thanksgiving snowstorm in Torrey, Utah, Capital Reef area. Snow and ice built up on passenger side window of our Prius overnight. Hours later, in the cold and wind, with the help of a bunch of suction cups and several assorted rolls of tape we headed back to Salt Lake where we called Performance. They picked the car up the next morning and brought it back the following day - healed! Bless you Performance Toyota of Bountiful! The turkey was superb as well! More
I had a problem with a communication module on my 2023 Toyota Tacoma.. Service Advisor John Judkins was superb. He showed genuine interest in solving the problem and exhibited great follow through. After a a couple of days it was determined that my truck needed a new computer and service module which had to be ordered. The technician was able to install the hardware in great time, and it solved the issue. Gratefully my truck was still under warranty. I had given another Toyota Dealer north of Performance Toyota but the Service Advisor did not show real interest in solving the problem. Performance Toyota Bountiful Service Advisors generally show great interest and willingness to help. John Judkins literally made my day. More
ago *Update: I think the reason they lied is because they knew there were problems with the car. The mechanic I took it to said that the mileage of 50k on the car doesn’t seem possible based on all the they knew there were problems with the car. The dealership said they would spend $1500 on the car fixing it up to ensure it was in good shape before I came to pick it up. They padded that with tons of detailing and stain guard for the interior. My mechanic said the transmission fluid was so dirty that it probably did damage to the transmission. Now I’ve had the car a little over 6 months and I think the transmission is failing. Overpriced and dishonest. Charged almost triple Bluebook, lied about why the previous customer chose not to buy the vehicle (first guy told me it was because they couldn’t get financing, then after signing paperwork second guy said it was because of space), promised car would be delivered and any money outside of the $1,5000 contingency allotted for repairs would be paid out. None of which happened. Stay away! More
