It took me 7 days to get my loan through Toyota financial after they CHANGED my trade in agreement after I signed. If you like stress and financial hardship for your family this is the dealership for you. I will absolutely go to Tony divino next time. I’ve bought many vehicles through them with zero issues. More
I had a poor experience with an employee of Bountiful Toyota and let them know why I was upset. The General Manager of the dealership, K.C. Waterbury quickly reached out to me, and apologized for the problem, asking us to give them a second chance, and promising that the experience would not be repeated. We took him up on his offer. This time, an amazing salesman named Trevor, did everything in his power to make sure our test drive and overall experience was perfect. There was no hard sale, no pressure, and every effort to help us get into the used car we wanted. Trevor also arranged for our current car to have some recall work done, before we gave it to a relative. We asked for several items that the used car did not come with. The Accessories manager, Jeremy, was incredibly helpful and worked to find exactly what we needed, and escorted us to the various locations where we needed to go to place orders. They were able to supply most of the items, or get them for us at a reduced price. We were finally introduced to Emily, in finance, who led us through our options, explained things clearly, and also pointed out one option we should ignore because we have insurance from a company that made it unnecessary. K.C. came in towards the end of the process to make sure that we were happy, and offered further assistance. What makes this so unusual is that we were buying a used car, we will probably not buy another car for 10 years, and we are not influential or well known people. The people that we worked with were people that I would love to work with anywhere. They clearly enjoyed their jobs, and were working to do them in the best possible way. This is a dealership that I will go back to for everything I need, because they will do things right, and if a mistake is made, they will bend over backwards to make it right! More

I want to inform potential car buyers about the deeply disappointing experience I recently had at Performance Toyota Bountiful. My interaction with this dealership has left me with a bitter taste and a st disappointing experience I recently had at Performance Toyota Bountiful. My interaction with this dealership has left me with a bitter taste and a strong urge to warn others about their questionable business practices. First and foremost, my dissatisfaction stems from the misleading information provided about the condition of a used vehicle I purchased from Performance Toyota Bountiful. The sales team assured me that the car was in impeccable condition, emphasizing its reliability and overall quality. However, upon closer inspection, it became evident that this was far from the truth. The vehicle exhibited several undisclosed issues that significantly impacted its performance and safety. It is disheartening to realize that Performance Toyota Bountiful not only failed to disclose these issues but actively misrepresented the condition of the car, leaving me with unexpected repair costs and a sense of betrayal. Furthermore, the sales tactics employed by this dealership were nothing short of high-pressure and manipulative. From the moment I stepped onto the lot, I felt an overwhelming sense of urgency to make a purchase. The sales team seemed more focused on closing the deal than ensuring that I made an informed decision. I strongly caution anyone considering Performance Toyota Bountiful to think twice before stepping foot onto their premises. Trust is a fundamental aspect of any business transaction, and sadly, this dealership has shown a blatant disregard for honesty and transparency. I implore potential buyers to explore alternative options and spare themselves the frustration and disappointment that comes with dealing with Performance Toyota Bountiful. In conclusion, my experience with this dealership has been nothing short of regrettable. It is my sincere hope that this review serves as a warning to others, prompting them to seek a more reputable and trustworthy dealership for their automotive needs. Performance Toyota Bountiful has a long way to go in terms of ethical business practices and customer satisfaction. More
Review update: pretty much don’t trust sales people. It wasn’t our first sales person, Lorenzo, but the guy who helped us sign all the papers. We’ve had our windshield wiper fluid leaking and even with a scheduled appt it still took 4.5 hours and $80 later (not covered by the warranty that “covers everything”) just for them to tell me that they fixed a hole in the line and that it was good to go. Even when I drove around with the mechanic and tested it and said “oh good it works!” He didn’t even say anything. Then a month later we discover the fluid still leaking and I call and complain and they said I only paid for them to diagnosis it and they didn’t actually fix it. ALSO, we had our regular mechanic checkout why our oil has started leaking (they didn’t even charge anything to diagnose the issue) and there’s a $300 part that needs replaced and I was also told that it’s NOT covered by our $3300 warranty that we were told “covers everything” except maintenance. DON’T waste your money on an extended warranty if they tell you it covers everything. They’re just out for your money. And to make you sit for 4.5 hours even WITH a service appt to just diagnose something and not tell you they didn’t fix it. So I give a big thumbs down for Toyota bountiful. The only decent person there is Lorenzo who didn’t pressure us into anything and didn’t give us false information. ORIGINAL REVIEW - I give our sales guys, Lorenzo, 5 stars! He was great to work with, had great communication, and not pushy at all. I left a star off for Toyota because as I drove our new vehicle home the “check tire pressure monitoring system” message popped on right as I got on the freeway. It’s been beeping at me since and the service department is still trying to figure out if our warranty we paid lots of money for covers it. And I noticed one of the headlight bulbs was out as we drove home. I guess I could blame myself for not checking the headlights before buying it. But I would’ve thought a big car dealership would have checked and fixed those things before selling a car haha but really, my husband and I thought Lorenzo was so great and he really went out of his way to try and help us get the van we want. Thanks! More

I could never I lived out of state and had it shipped home. It was a big hassle to get Performance to work with my credit union to complete the sale. I could never get the finance guy to return my calls or emails. It was obvious when it arrived that it never went through their full point inspection or paint protection they charged for. They then messed up my registration paperwork and it’s now been two months and still no plates. Go elsewhere. More

But for the last 2, maybe 3 years, that is not the case. The faces are nearly all different every time . To me, that is not a good sign. I sold that RAV4 to my son when I bought my new 2022 RAV4 last year. They refused to honor the fact that I had bought the tires there and give him the free rotation. He’d asked to have an oil change done because the maintenance light had come on and they didn’t bother to tell him he had another 5,000 miles before he needed it. Just went ahead and did it. They had all the info on the screen in front of them. I call that not being honest. They also told him he needed a wheel alignment which he told them to go ahead and do. When they were done with everything, they mentioned he should get new tires because there was a very tiny leak in the sidewall of one of the tires that could not be repaired. Mind you, they did the alignment and charged him instead of giving him the option of replacing the tires first. They did sell him on the “package” of oil changes, but I’m truly doubting they’ll ever see him after h uses those. After that first experience, he believes they are just another corrupt dealership. I chose to buy my 2022 there only because I’d been treated so well with the purchase and serving of my 2016. I’m sure hoping I’m not going to regret that decision. More
