General manager doesn't honor agreements Nine months ago, I went back to this dealership to return an old lease and was considering taking on a new one. As part of the agreement to take over a new lease I was promised by the sales manager that they would take care of a cracked bumper on the old car (I was hit in a parking lot). I was told that once the car passed an inspection with toyota I would receive a bill in the mail. All I had to do was give them the bill (which i did) and they would take care of it. The deadline came and they hadn't made the payment. They then told me it would be best if I made the payment and that they would cut me a check soon after. I did as instructed. After 7 months of constant calls and visits, I learned that the sales manager had been fired and the GENERAL manager was not going to honor my agreement with the previous sales manager, even though the salesman and account that initially helped me backed me up. I went back to this dealership because I had a great experience almost 4 years ago when I got my first leased car. But I'm sad to say that their customer service has gone to the dogs. Stay away from this place. The sales people are kind but their general management does NOT know how to treat loyal, returning customers. Very disappointing. More

Very pleasant experience I was looking for a new 4Runner. I knew exactly what options I did want and more importantly what I didn't want. This was going to require ordering t I was looking for a new 4Runner. I knew exactly what options I did want and more importantly what I didn't want. This was going to require ordering the car directly from the factory in Japan. I openly own the fact that I am a picky demanding customer. I was negotiating with another Toyota dealership and when I counter offered the price they gave me, the floor manager threatened my physical safety. Needless to say I immediately left that dealership never to return. I had heard good things about Bountiful Toyota and due to the horrible experience I had with the previous dealership, I decided to make an internet inquiry. Daniel Sanchez IMd me back promptly, we discussed what I wanted in the car. He said it could be done if I was willing to wait for the car to come from the factory. We began to negotiate the final price of the car on the phone. Daniel was very patient with me and because I made him a very stingy offer for the car he escalated me up to his manager. I think his name was Brad. Brad and I negotiated the final price which was actually 50.00 below my stingy offer. I was so impressed. We made arrangements for me to sign the paperwork to order the car in person. At no point did I ever feel pressured or threatened like my previous experience. Daniel told me they were a pet friendly dealership and I could bring my pet along when I came up. I told him I had very unusual pets. I have rats. He said no problem, bring them up. When we came to the dealership everyone was so friendly and interested to meet our rats. We laughed and joked while taking care of the paperwork. My kids really appreciated the snack bar. Jake Reck the finance manager was also very professional and made me laugh when I made the down payment. So four weeks later Daniel called me to say my car was ready to be picked up. My kids, my rats and I went up to get the car. Again, everything was stress free, Daniel and Jake were the utmost professionals throughout the entire process of dealing with a picky demanding customer. The only pain that will result from this entire experience is when the check I wrote to buy the car clears the bank. My husband is going to be looking for a new truck in the next couple of years and this dealership will be our first stop for sure. Well done gentlemen. More

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Weston Bird on both occasions and he’s made the purchase process enjoyable and easy. I highly recommend him and look forward to working with him in the future. Toyota Bountiful is a great dealership and they have an excellent service department. I’d also like to mention my sales associate Daniel Sanchez, he was patient and spent the entire day showing me cars. Top notch all around. More

I had some very specific requirements as my mother is elderly and uses a walker that we need to make sure we could fit. Mitch found the perfect car for us on the second try. Weston Bird helped us get it in within the budget we had and both men were a pleasure to work with. Mitch showed me a Toyota Matrix which I had never heard of before but it was exactly what we needed. Jake in the finance department was friendly. The entire experience was a delight. More
