In the past six months I've had to buy two cars, and in the process I've had to visit over a dozen dealerships in the Pioneer Valley area. I've learned a lot about the range of high-pressure and smarmy tactics used at many of these dealerships. When I walked into Toyota/Ford of Greenfield, I had a completely different experience. Within the first few minutes of talking with Ken Kavanaugh, I felt my neck relax and my shoulders ease -- quite the opposite feeling from any other dealership I've walked into. So they have become my exclusive preference for a dealership and Ken Kavanaugh is the ONLY car professional whom I recommend to my friends and family. This was my second car purchase at Toyota & Ford of Greenfield, and my second time working with Ken. He is absolutely a rare gem in the car buying world: honest, forthright, pleasant, respectful, and best of all, completely trustworthy. He's not pushy at all, gives you ample time to make decisions, and does not blanket you with needless "information" that only confuses an already complicated decision. Rather, Ken's entire approach is to make the process as seamless and trust-filled as possible. With Ken, you will feel reassured, calm, confident, and in charge at every step of the way. When Ken gives you a price, you can trust that he is doing right by you -- there will be no hidden gotchas, no surprise add-ons, no bait-and-switches, no nickel-and-dime "features". The price will be fair, both for you and for the dealership. With both cars I've purchased, Ken quoted me a price well below the TrueCar estimate and below the dealership's own internet sales price. In addition, Ken will personally ensure that you have a relaxed and comfortable time at the dealership. Unlike in other dealerships, you won't be pestered by multiple managers and you won't see Ken rushing back and forth to the sales manager's office to get "the latest deal". Everything will proceed in a calm and trustworthy manner, there will be no high-pressure high-stress tactics. The rest of the team at the dealership are likewise stellar professionals who are trustworthy and respectful. In the F&I manager's office you will not be bombarded with further high-pressure sales tactics. Instead, Ryan will walk you very calmly through a series of available options, explaining them in a straightforward way without confusing you with too many choices, and always making it clear that you can choose not to take any of the options. Again, you will be treated with respect as someone making careful decisions on how to spend a lot of your valuable money -- not as someone they can milk for everything they can get. The first car I bought with Ken was a Toyota Sienna minivan back in November 2013. I wrote a review back then, and now, three months later in the middle of a snowier-than-usual New England winter, I'm happy to say that my family and I are totally satisfied with the car. We're now in the market for a second car, a commuter vehicle for my own use, so I went back to Ken for the process. For my second car I ended up selecting a Ford Fiesta, and it is truly a beautiful car, absolutely fun to drive and well built. I am delighted to have the opportunity to drive this car, but more importantly, I am truly happy that I got to buy this with Ken. He and the dealership completely deserve their success, and I wish them much increased business in the future with their new expanded facility! More
Ken was knowledgeable, provided useful information, efficient (we were able to look at, test drive and buy a used car, apply for and receive financing and trade in two cars in a 48 hour period. Phenomenal, Ken was helpful, and respectful but was not pushy. Staff, including Carol, was friendly and helpful in getting us the additional information needed to answer additional questions, and did so in a timely manner. The dealership had good selection of autos,great financing, efficient and staff environment that was friendly and clearly had respect for each other and for their potential customers. We went there on recommendation of friends/colleagues who had great experiences, and we too will recommend this dealership to our friends. We're pleased with the car and the whole experience. Kudos to Toyota of Greenfield and hats off to their personnel. More

mike went out of his way to find a great RV4 with power seats that my wife could get high enough to see front end of the SUV,we needed a vehicle that did not require a cushion for her to sit on in order to seats that my wife could get high enough to see front end of the SUV,we needed a vehicle that did not require a cushion for her to sit on in order to see over the stearing wheel and be abel to drive the vehicle,tried out both a Escape and RV4 and it was a hard decision,but the RV4 won out.
