i was looking at trucks online and saw a Ford Raptor. I called Marty Kendrick, even though it was his day off, to see if he knew anything about them. Marty said he would find and give me a call back. He called me back right away and gave me some information. The next day I went to the dealership and ordered this vehicle. Marty introduced me to several people there and a few of them helped out with the ordering process. This was on October 4, 2010. On January 20, 2011 the truck had finally come in. Marty called me to let me know and then went with me to see it that evening, even though he had already been at home for the evening. I can't tell you how much I appreciated him going out of his way to do this! Everyone I met at this dealership was very nice and friendly! I love my new truck and when I want to purchase another vehicle I will definitely go back here! More
I had a good experience with Toyota of greenfield when I purchased my 2010 Toyota Matrix. Marty was very accomodating and (along with my AAA coverage which I volunteered) helped facilitate the towing of my purchased my 2010 Toyota Matrix. Marty was very accomodating and (along with my AAA coverage which I volunteered) helped facilitate the towing of my trade in from Amherst to Greenfield that day. I appreciated that he did not put too much pressure on me to buy because I would have been very put off by that technique - Basically he made it a very easy, convenient experience. He also followed up with my insurance when they needed some written documentation about the security system on the car. I like my new Toyota ; I would do business with Toyota of Greenfield again. I DO think I have been asked to fill out too many questionnaires after the fact. I already wrote one review and sent it in, and I have been asked a few times hence, making me think that maybe it did not go through? But I sent it. I originally wanted to get my 02 Tacoma repaired, but more was wrong than I thought. While I waited for my truck in service I walked around the lot and looked at the new Tacoma's. We have always felt pressured at some dealerships. Ken never pressured us. He asked what we were interested in including options and price ranges. He didn't try to sell us something we didn't want. He was able to get us the best price on the truck we wanted (compared to other dealerships in Massachusetts); had everything ready for us friendly. The gentleman who worked with me was very personable and friendly, but that was about where my positive experience ended. I was hoping they wouldn't be the kind of dealership that sees an inexperienced car buyer and takes advantage of them. I was wrong. When I wasn't approved for financing on the used car I was interested in, I stupidly allowed myself to be talked into a lengthy and expensive lease. I should have walked out then and there. On the credit application, I was told to overestimate my monthly income supposedly "only to secure financing." (I've recently been made aware by a lawyer that this is actually a fraudulent practice). When it came time to sign paperwork, everything was rushed, and I left confused. I realize that this is something I never should have gotten involved in without any prior knowledge, however, I have to question the ethics of a company that puts making a sale above the best interest of a customer More
