We moved to the Sierra foothills, now needing AWD and more ground clearance. We purchased a Corolla from Toyota Sunnyvale back in 1986, so we stopped in to see current offerings . As we entered the dealership door, Mr Ahmad Hatamieh approached us with with smiles and warm handshake. We asked to see the Rav 4 line and to answer questions relating to features and pricing. Ahmad was very congenial, easy going, and a good listener. He guided us through the potential selection process as one totally knowledgeable of this car. We asked for a test drive. Without hesitation he moved to make our initial drive a memorable experience. These cars are sophisticated, yes even the SE AWD we selected. Short tutelage and both my wife and I were impressed. Now the money! Once Ahmad knew we wanted this car, he sweetened the deal by giving us additional discounts. There was no saying "no" from that point. Paperwork, insurance, detailing, presentation, all were carried out by this dealership in a tight smooth controlled fashion. By the time Ahmad handed us the keys, we had a thorough knowledge of the car's controls and potential. We left the dealership both smiling! We must say that this was our best car shopping experience ever. Ratha was very informative and she was answering our questions while she was showing us the SUV's. Negative turned to a positive I did not want to write a review. At first I thought I did not want to write something that I believed could be removed because a business had the pow I did not want to write a review. At first I thought I did not want to write something that I believed could be removed because a business had the power to remove it. Now it does not matter because I have a positive out look. I bought a vehicle a few years ago. The sales person was really nice and helped me find the vehicle I was looking for. Did all the paper work and I took my vehicle home. 3 days later had issues with my vehicle and I went back to the dealership to let them know. The sales person who was nice in the first place, became rude and passed me over to someone else. I would have to say I spoke to few people and they would not help me. I told them all I love my vehicle, I just needed to know what was going on with it. Needless to say I was very angry and did not want to deal with Toyota Sunnyvale again. I got a call From Kalani and I did not know who he was. He left a message about an annual inspection. First thought was, "THIS IS A LAUGH." So I called him back and gave him a piece of my mind. I was shocked, he had nothing to gain. He listen to me vent and after a few years later I thought I let it go. I let him have it and he had nothing to do with my issue or the problem I had. He just heard me out and he wanted to do what was right. He let me know that I can get a Multi something done for free and he would make sure they did it. After talking to him for a while, I was happy that their was still some good people in the world. I do not know if I will go back there, but I know if I have questions or get this 100 something inspection done, I will first call Kalani because it really feels like he cares. As a dealership I will give 3 stars. After talking to Kalani, I will give him 5 because he listened. My anger with the dealership turned into laughter. You can tell he really cared and felt bad for what I had to deal with. If only he was my sales person, I think this would have all been a different experience. It was my first time buying a vehicle from a dealership. If you need help, Kalani will be someone I think will give his best. Even if you do not buy a car, he will help. Well that is what I feel.
