Wait 4 days for an oil change. Techs tries to remove dashcam I send my Toyota Supra to this dealer for an oil change and a recall on backup camera. It is booked 1 and half month ahead of time. I dropped it off at 9AM on Monday and was told by service advisor at 3PM that they have some trouble to source the engine oil filter for this car, because it has a BMW engine and their technician certified for the recall is out for school, but they are able to find the parts and another technician on Tuesday. Fine, I can stand 1 day delay. However, I got no calls or updates from Toyota Sunnyvale on the entire Tuesday and Wednesday morning. On Wednesday afternoon, I called the service department and was told my advisor is not available today and transfer me to another advisor. To my surprise, he told me the car was not worked on at all because they were still waiting for the oil filter. I requested to bring my car back so I can drive it while they were sourcing the parts. The service advisor ask me wait for a few minutes so he can talk with the technicians. A few HOURS later, I was told they were able to do the job on Thursday. Fine I already waited 3 days, just one more day. I agreed. I finally got my car back on Thursday afternoon. This was already a terrible service experience. My car has a hard-wired dashcam installed, to prevent car break-in events since it is quite prevalent in bay area. After I got home, I noticed the dash wires have been pulled from the trim a bit. I reviewed the records and shocked to see that one of the technician was trying to remove the dashcam from my car and claiming 'They are not supposed to recording us'. Look, there is no law restricts the usages of dashcam. My usages of dashcam is completely legal. If your service center is not comfortable with dashcam, you should tell me when I drop off my car or put a big sign on the wall of your service center or even call me to pick up my car so I can bring my car to another Toyota dealer that is comfortable with it. The dashcam only triggers when it suspects there is a crash or break-in. If you were doing your job correctly. It would record nothing. Overall this is the worst service experience I have after being a loyal Toyota car owner for more than 6 years. I understand the service advisors have their own shift schedule that they won't always be available to answer the calls. I don't really want to blame the two service advisors I contacted with. They were friendly. I understand the service center may not have required parts in hand but you should let your client wait for 4 days without telling him what's going on. This service process was handled completely unprofessional. More

Bobby Scott and Marwan Afifi helped me out with my most recent purchase of a 2019 Mirai. With their help, patience, and guidance I was able to transition from my old prius into a brand new fully loaded Mirai. Both Bobby and Marwan took their time to really talk to me and understand my needs and my possibilities and worked tirelessly to look, work and re-work the numbers to give me the best possible outcome. Going in to trade in my prius I did not think it was possible for me to upgrade to the level level to which they got me but they did everything in their power to help me get a new car with brand new technology at the best possible value. After that, it was over to Roy Watkins at the finance dept who took great care in going over each and every document with meticulous organization, put some extra time after hours to confirm some pending finance issues for us and did it with a smile and the best disposition.
