Confirmed an appointment, when I sent a message to the rep the day of, clarifying the price before making the 1.5 hour drive in, to verify no dealer adders, he ghosted me. Received a call back from a rep the day of, clarifying the price before making the 1.5 hour drive in, to verify no dealer adders, he ghosted me. Received a call back from a manager, the manager was professional. I did make a comment on the new 4runner, where he did state they would be doing market value adjustments. I get a text from sales today, asking if I still wanted to come in on the other vehicle I was looking at. I stated I've set my search up for a 4runner, and won't be buying it there due to dealer adds. We have many central Texas Smart Path Dealers who do not do market value adjustments. The rep did not read message and brought up dealer adders, different than a market value adjustment. I asked to be removed from marketing, the sales rep continued to text me a 4runner and asked about pricing. Apparently they did not get the hint I am upset about their ghosting when I took time off of work to make the appointment happen. They did not read their messages. My current vehicle is getting repurchased from the manufacture under lemon law, I do not have time to waste, they wasted mine. More
