Last night I purchased a beautiful 2021 red Toyota Tacoma TSS SR5 crew cab pickup truck. Every aspect of the experience from the test drive to the negotiation, Mike was extremely patient and acted as my advocate to his Sales Manager. He was extremely patient as I went back and forth on the phone with my wife and even as I was about to walk away from the deal, he kept advocating on my behalf until he got me to where I was happy with the deal. Mike Collins was fantastic to work with and anyone who is in the market for a new car now I would highly recommend they drive out to Toyota of Boerne and ask for Mike Collins. After Mike got me over the finish line the service never dropped off. Mr. Noel Rodriguez my Finance Manager was fantastic as he walked me through my warranty options and all the paperwork involved in purchasing a car. He also got me a lower rate than my credit union did on the deal which was fantastic. Noel was also extremely courteous and professional and quick and showed a sincere interest in myself and my daughter who was with me during this purchase. Anyone who is looking for a car, please go see Mike Collins and Noel Rodriguez at Toyota of Boerne and they will get you right and get you a great deal while treating you like a friend the whole time. Sales manager promised me one price and wouldn’t honor it when I came in. So they did it to me again. I got a flat tire that turned out to be not repairable. I called the dealership and from my previous experience, asked for an actual service advisor. I explained that I needed a tire replaced and wanted to know if the truck tires came with Hazard warranty. She got my info and said, that the tires on my truck had road hazard insurance. I asked her to please double check. She again said that the tire was covered. she called the parts department and was told that the tire would arrive at the dealership that evening. She then set up an appointment for the next morning at 7:00 am. I asked her a third time about the warranty and again, she confirmed. I show up at the dealership this morning and Marcus Skinner came out to work with me. Marcus is awesome. This review is not about him. Marcus tells me that the tire is not warrantied. I explained that I confirmed with Samantha 3 times. He said, well, it's not. He gave me a price. I told him it was too high, and I could get it cheaper elsewhere. Marcus was able to get the price down to a price that I could live with. So, I go to the waiting area and I see my truck parked out in the back for about an hour. As I'm coming out to ask, Marcus met me and explained that the tire was not here, and it would not get to the dealership till 1:00 pm. As I had to get to work, I asked my wife to pick me up. I'm waiting to see when/if the tire is replaced today. Here is my problem and the reason for the poor review. Why did Samantha tell me something that was not true three times. Why did the parts department commit to getting the tire in the evening and then not follow through. Once again, as I stated in my last review, TOB employees do not really care for or respect a customer's time. I'm hopeful that Marcus will make sure the tire is replaced, but disappointed that I had to write yet another negative review. More
