My husband and I recently had an exceptional experience at the Toyota of Boerne dealership. Let me first start by saying that I have never been impressed with car salesmen. I just do not like being pre at the Toyota of Boerne dealership. Let me first start by saying that I have never been impressed with car salesmen. I just do not like being pressured and hounded just so they can make a sale. The unpleasant part is having to say “no”, which I have absolutely no problem saying. Over the past 6 weeks, my husband and I would go out every Sunday afternoon to go look at vehicles. Why Sunday? Because the salesmen didn’t bother us….They’re closed. When we first pulled up to the dealership, I told my husband “when you get out of the car, exit stage right.” The salesmen were all at the front to the left. We went down the rows of used trucks just browsing to see what they had. When we came around the corner, the salesman met up with us. However, when he spoke up, for some reason, it commanded my attention and I took note of him speaking with my husband. The salesman was Mitchell Ponce. Mitchell was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist without being pushy. I took careful note of how he was “listening” to my husband trying to reiterate to him what we were looking for instead of sidetracking the whole conversation with what he thinks we need. Mitchell took the time to understand our needs and preferences. He made the entire process smooth and enjoyable, ensuring all our questions were answered. The test drive experience was seamless. Mitchell quickly arranged for my husband to test drive the vehicle we had our sights set on and he provided a thorough overview of the vehicle's features and performance. This hands-on experience was invaluable in making our final decision. My overall experience at the Toyota of Boerne dealership was truly a five-star, solely due to Mitchell’s exceptional service. The combination of excellent service and a customer-centric approach made it a standout experience. I started the visit to Toyota Boerne with a very bad experience your sales rep Victor Gutierrez lied to me about having a 2024 4Runner I had called your dealership and asked him to double check availabi experience your sales rep Victor Gutierrez lied to me about having a 2024 4Runner I had called your dealership and asked him to double check availability to a specific 4Runner and I gave him the stock number and VIN to the Toyota 4Runner. He placed me on hold and told me that he was going to check with his manager to see if they had it in stock. He came back to the phone and assured me that it was in the lot I asked him again due to my wife and I have to leave work and drive 2 hours just to get to Boerne Texas and again he stated that they had it in stock! I arrived and found out the he had lied to me this vehicle had been sold the past Saturday. I was very disappointed and upset ready to start letting people know how bad your company had treated us. But after speaking with Luke Garcia and he assured me that he was going to make this right not only did he make it right he went above and beyond by assuring that his manger was involved with our problem. Sam the manager came and told us that he was very sorry about his sales representative lying to us but he was going to help us with a better deal. Luke Garcia showed us a 2023 4Runner and thoroughly explained all the features that it came with and the benefits in purchasing this used vehicle vs a new one. My wife and I were convinced that it was beneficial for us to move forward in purchasing the vehicle that Luke showed us. I recommend that you train all your Sales team to be more like Luke Garcia in an effort of helping your customers to be willing to purchase vehicles from your dealership if it wasn't for Luke Garcia you would have lost a customer and many more sales!
