The dealer snuck $8,000 in additional charges over the price we had agreed on for our new truck. They removed the extra charges and told us the paperwork would be ready the next day. It was not. We have c price we had agreed on for our new truck. They removed the extra charges and told us the paperwork would be ready the next day. It was not. We have called over and over and gone in person to get the corrected paperwork for the last 6 weeks. There is never a manager available to talk to and they never call us back. Customer service at its very worst. More

*** ZERO Stars ~ BUYER BEWARE***Absolutely worse car *** ZERO Stars ~ BUYER BEWARE*** Absolutely worse car buying experience my family and I have ever had! Highly recommend Active Duty Military and Ve *** ZERO Stars ~ BUYER BEWARE*** Absolutely worse car buying experience my family and I have ever had! Highly recommend Active Duty Military and Veterans STAY AWAY!!! First off, contacted dealership back in late November 2020 about a 2020 Camry SE. Was quoted two separate prices on the same vehicle. Due to being Active Duty Military and being forward deployed overseas, was unable to stop by dealership until Mid-December. During this time we stayed in contact with the internet salesman. Just prior to Christmas on December 22nd, 2020 we contacted the internet salesman again just to verify the Toyota of Boerne Dealership still had the vehicle and could honor the price quoted. Email response stated, "I can still honor it but we are running out of available options. Can you come by today?" Due to the dealership being closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we were unable to visit dealership until December 26th, 2020. On December 26th, 2020 after exchanging emails with the salesman we went to dealership to see the two vehicles. Upon arriving we asked for our salesman but we guess he was to busy to help us and ended up passing us off to another salesman. We said and informed the new salesman the vehicle/vehicles we were interested in and he stated ok. Not sure why, but he kept insisting we drive the vehicle even tho we had just rented one the day prior to really test drive on our own. After our mini test drive we proceeded inside. We informed the salesman and even sent this the emails/conversations we had with the other salesman concerning the prices we were quoted. His response was, "There's no way that is correct! I think he meant to say... an extra $10,000 was added to the price quoted" We then informed him we received two quotes on the same vehicle and we did not understand why he thought the quotes were wrong. We then proceeded to conduct the normal "haggle" operation seen at most dealerships. We stated we would not be interested in the crazy ($10,000 above) quoted internet prices. We proceeded to leave but the salesman insisted we talked to his "manager". At this point we were done, such a simple transaction, 800 or above credit score, but yet honesty, integrity, and credibility was lost. We were then chased out the dealership by the salesman and the "manager". I proceeded to tell my wife and 6 year old daughter to continue to our car and I will be done here in a second. At this point, the "manager" proceeded to give me the same spill. I again explained to him the quotes, the easy transaction available here, and was really just looking for honesty. Then the "manager" proceeded to take off a service in which cost $2000 but yet this same service was stated to be free by the other salesman we were working with. After stating to the "manager" and salesman again the quoted price and where we needed to be, the "manager" stated we couldn't get there. I proceeded to inform him about the extra charges and explained to him we were Active Duty Military and just looking for a new car for my wife's Christmas/Birthday. Now here's the interesting part, once I stated I was Active Duty Military I saw a distinct change in the "manager". It appeared his attitude shifted, no more negotiations were going to occur. He proceeded to say, "Ok" and the conversation ended. In our opinion the salesman at this location needs to be trained better. First, when the customer shows compassion about getting the best deal, salesman have to remove emotion. They cannot respond with a loud voice/aggression. Second, the "let me get my manager" is a rather old technique and in our opinion the new generation will not play these games and waste time. Third, instead of asking the buyer the same question concerning acceptable price, why not provide you're lowest price. YOU QUOTED US! Overall we will be contacting the Toyota Corporate Office and the BBB about concerning business practices at this location. If the owner of this location truly cares, we would appreciate they reach out to us. More
My Toyota being traded was purchased from Toyota of Boerne in 2009 and naturally I went back to the dealership I enjoyed working with back then. They’ve grown and selection has grown, too! I drove 3 Boerne in 2009 and naturally I went back to the dealership I enjoyed working with back then. They’ve grown and selection has grown, too! I drove 3 hours each way to specifically do my repeat business with them, and they did not disappoint. Robert Benitez put me into a great new truck. Well done Toyota of Boerne !! More
