It is with great disappointment and dismay that I am writing this review. I live in Austin Tx and saw a 2021 4Runner TRD PRO for sale at Toyota of Boerne. It was the color I wanted and the price was go writing this review. I live in Austin Tx and saw a 2021 4Runner TRD PRO for sale at Toyota of Boerne. It was the color I wanted and the price was good. So I contacted them and arranged to see it with a sales rep the Sat after Black Friday. I told my sales rep when I was leaving Austin. She confirmed my visit with the new car sales managers. So everyone knew I was driving from Austin. I also sent her pic of my TX DL and proof of insurance. I even filled out the online trade in information in case I traded in my 2013 Toy FJ Trail Teams edition vehicle. I basically was ready to go. I even had my checkbook, and clear car title with me. While traveling to San Antonio from Austin, the weather was terrible. It rained hard non-stop for my whole trip. The trip took me 2.5 hours vs a normal 1.5 hours. There were 3 accidents along the way that really slowed my progress. I was in constant contact with my sales rep about my travel progress, and she informed the sales managers. I guess I did not get there fast enough because when I was 5 minutes from arriving at the dealership, my sales rep called me and told me the car was sold to someone else. REALLY? The new car sales mgt team knew I was driving up from Austin just to see the vehicle. When I got there, I ask to talk to a sales manager. I spoke with Aman Shiekh, New Car Sales Director. He was immediately condescending and rude with me. He defended the decision to sell the car to someone else, even though he knew I was driving from Austin to probably buy it. He basically didn't care at all. At this point, there was nothing I could do. So I said you can at least pay for my gas. And Aman Shiekh said, “I DON'T OWE YOU ANYTHING!” Unbelievable. I have never been treated more poorly by a car dealership. I am over 50 yrs old and I have bought many cars. My sales rep couldn’t believe what had happened either. She was very sorry that I was treated so poorly and apologized. The lesson to be learned here is quite simple. Toyota of Boerne is not A DEALER FOR THE PEOPLE. THEY ARE A DEALER FOR THEMSELVES!. I highly encourage everyone who reads this and is looking to buy a new Toyota, to go to another Toyota dealership. The way I was treated is unprecedented on the low scale. If the NEW CAR DIRECTOR at Toyota of Boerne is going to treat me this way. The odds are high that the new car sales dept will treat you poorly too. There are so many other Toyota dealerships to choose from in San Antonio…. I would give Toyota of Boerne zero stars if I could. Take care and Cheers! More
James, my Service Rep was very professional and had the drive to please. The dealership recently invested in equipment that evaluates the tread depth and alignment as you drive in to the bay. Really amazin drive to please. The dealership recently invested in equipment that evaluates the tread depth and alignment as you drive in to the bay. Really amazing high tech stuff. My right front wheel was out of alignment and they fixed it right a way. Great experience. More

After we were there, the price listed in the advertisement was NOT the price they wrote up for my son. They added more than a $1,497 to the price for "Certification" and another $996 for "apex" advertisement was NOT the price they wrote up for my son. They added more than a $1,497 to the price for "Certification" and another $996 for "apex" locator service. They lowered a bit after we complained. My son wanted it so he bought it against my advice. This is the "old school" dealer trick--advertise one price to get you in, and then charge a higher price. I called another Toyota dealer in San antonio and asked if they advertsied a lower price and then raised it later. Before I could even tell them where my son bought his car, the Mgr. said, "Toyota of Boerne. Right?" We tend to be a family of loyal buyers. We bought 5 Altimas from the same dealer and decided to go Toyota. With 8 children (and 3 of the family buying new cars in 2021), we stand to give some dealer some repeat business. I called for the General Manager Chris Franklin. He never returned my call. Needless to say, Toyota of Boerne just lost our family as customers. More

When I sit down with someone to make a purchase for several thousand dollars, I expect honesty and transparency and that is not what I was met with at Toyota of Boerne. My salesperson and I had been in several thousand dollars, I expect honesty and transparency and that is not what I was met with at Toyota of Boerne. My salesperson and I had been in contact for about a week, and the listed price dropped on a used Kia Soul 2020. I contacted her and said I would be interested in this car at a certain price, out the door. "Out the door" is a common phrase understood to be inclusive of all taxes and fees. When I arrived at the dealership, after a long run-around, they had changed the price to more than 2K over what we'd discussed. After a long day of getting things in order on my end, I drove an hour and a half to Toyota of Boerne with everything in hand to purchase this car at our agreed upon price. No other prices or numbers had been mentioned beyond my offer for an out the door pricing that was recognized as a reasonable offer. First things first, the front tires on this car are bald. If you're buying it, look at the tires. I bring this up and they pull out some water bottle and tell me it's just because they're dirty and that they should be fine for another two years. As another note to potential buyers for this red 2020 Kia Soul, it was previously a rental vehicle, and the nature of its previous ownership was never mentioned to me prior to coming to the dealership that night. While this information and the condition of the tires was upsetting and disappointing, I still wanted the car at this point. We come in to look at paperwork, and my salesperson asks me to sign on the offer and agreement before she even discusses what the cost and fees are of this vehicle. In fact, I have to ask her to walk me through it, which is when I realize that they've changed the price. She goes back to her manager, oh this is the best they can do. When I express that I'm disappointed and angry at how this was handled, the salesperson begins to argue with me on the points of our conversation, most of which was handled via text and easy to reference even now. None of what the salesperson then said to me regarding our earlier conversations is true. My suspicion is they knew I wanted this car and was willing to drive a ways for it. They were hopeful that once we got to the paperwork stage, the extra two thousand dollars of my money wouldn't be a big enough deal for me to walk away. They were wrong. At best, these people are terrible communicators. At worst, they're flat out liars who will then attempt to gaslight you into thinking it's your own fault and then paying more than your comfort level allows. Avoid going here. More
BUYER'S BE WARNED buying from this dealership!!! Make sure your CPO vehicle is a genuinely a CPO vehicle. The vehicle i have doesn't qualify to be a CPO car.. n they know it!!! That's why they won't ret sure your CPO vehicle is a genuinely a CPO vehicle. The vehicle i have doesn't qualify to be a CPO car.. n they know it!!! That's why they won't return calls, answer emails or reply to text msgs. Make sure you walk out with ALL your purchase agreement paperwork. Bc they will add n jack up the price without your consent cause the paperwork you get at a later date is different from what you originally signed. The 2014 Camry This I purchased just a few weeks ago was advertised for $10,900, I put down $1,500 cash n at 4.59%. They never would give me my paperwork after being told they would email it.. Now I know why it took them 23 days to give,, after I made as scene. The total says $18,635.25!!!! This place has had my car more than the 25 days I've owned it. N it's still not fixed!!! APEX account shows it never moved Mon, having brakes fixed, picked up yesterday, again, just to have the same issue. This dealership will sell you a fraudulent car n will scam you. This is still not been settled. The GM won't return my calls or emails. I did miss his call yesterday evening at 7pm. Tried returning the call. My call gets dropped, the same happens now when I called the dealership today. I've filed a complaint with the BBB, n planning on a couple other places before I hire an attorney for the Lemon Law. Good luck I wouldn't give 1 star but had to rate to post. More
