Went to look/drive a used RAV4 with my mother and sister, was greeted by Joshua, who was great through the whole process. Explained the features of the car and was very personable throughout. Went through several negotiations discussing what “monthly payment” we wanted. My goal was to get a competitive APR. We agreed on a list of specs and went to meet a finance manager, Navid. I felt still in the dark on if I was approved and what rate I was approved at. First thing we talk about is their Toyota Extra Care warranties. My sister pressed him a little to give us my approved APR and monthly payment. He finally gave us this info and I let him know that I did not want the extended warranties. He became short and said “well I got you a better rate”, insinuating that I was supposed to pay for extra warranties I did not want. He circled back to these again, pressured us, applied discounts, until we agreed to get it. Overall my experience was good until these few minutes of interaction. Also I had to return the next day and specifically request copies of the warranty agreement that I was pressured to get. More

I was so lucky to randomly get Gareth to patiently work with me in choosing a new car. I had a 2007 Prius with over 275k miles and it was time to let her go. I went in for another Prius but found the new m with me in choosing a new car. I had a 2007 Prius with over 275k miles and it was time to let her go. I went in for another Prius but found the new models didn’t fit my current needs. Gareth took the time to help me assess options and find what was best for me. I am very happy with the Hybrid choice I left with. I went in with dread expecting an all day debate session and left within hours without even needing to argue pricing as it was in line with Bluebook values and they even found better financing then the pre-approval from my bank. I will not only use Gareth and CPT for all my families future car needs, I will send anyone I know to Gareth! More
