Went through several negotiations discussing what “monthly payment” we wanted. My goal was to get a competitive APR. We agreed on a list of specs and went to meet a finance manager, Navid. I felt still in the dark on if I was approved and what rate I was approved at. First thing we talk about is their Toyota Extra Care warranties. My sister pressed him a little to give us my approved APR and monthly payment. He finally gave us this info and I let him know that I did not want the extended warranties. He became short and said “well I got you a better rate”, insinuating that I was supposed to pay for extra warranties I did not want. He circled back to these again, pressured us, applied discounts, until we agreed to get it. Overall my experience was good until these few minutes of interaction. Also I had to return the next day and specifically request copies of the warranty agreement that I was pressured to get. More
