I liked that Jim was not pushy the first time we talked over the phone. I actually came to DSM Toyota after working with a different Toyota dealership. I have been a Toyota customer for over 20 years. Occasionally I think about purchasing/leasing a different brand but it would be such as hassle. The service at Toyota of Des Moines is incredible. From new sales/new lease to ongoing service of my vehicles, I have experienced nothing but best class experience from everyone at Toyota of DSM. I recently went through a divorce and was insecure and a bit worried about coordinating a new vehicle purchase/lease on my own. All of the people at Toyota made me feel so important and special. And they coordinated everything for me. All I had to do was show up with the old vehicle and step into the new one. I will continue to be a Toyota customer for many years to come. More
I went to the dealership to get an oil change and look at the new 2014 Highlander (I had received an e-mail from Chris that one was in). After checking in my vehicle for the oil change, I went out to look up the new 2014 Highlander (I had received an e-mail from Chris that one was in). After checking in my vehicle for the oil change, I went out to look up Chris and see if the Highlander was still there. Chris came right out and let me look at it. I loved the redesign, and took it for a test drive. During the test drive and the process of valuing my vehicle and working out a trade value, Chris was very accommodating. When the purchase process was completed, there was a man named Joe back in the vehicle delivery area who went through the entire process of operating the vehicle and the Entune system. I elected to get a protection package for the interior and exterior, and a woman named Brie (sp?) set up my appointment that day within the time frame I had requested. I was treated as a valued customer. More

Very friendly and helpful staff. They were very open regarding the cars that we had an interest in, and did not attempt to upsell. On 11/22/2013 I purchased a very nice Buick Lucerne, test drive was good and initial service was great. The next day when i was really driving the car though the breaks were very noisey and squeaky, I though drive was good and initial service was great. Took a road trip on thanksgiving to families and it was the first day driving any kind of distance on the interstate. When i went to exit on a slow ramp i applied the breaks and the whole car shakes and makes a shutter noise. ( The cars has a warped ruttor) and now the engine light has come on. I did by the car as is but thought i was ok with there remputation they have from online reviews and friends and family that have purchased cars here. I have contacted my sales associate Randy Gardner and he stated there is not mutch he could do and to contact his manager. I have left a voicemail with him and i am waiting on a response. I am not feeling very confident on there inspections on there used cars and i am pretty worried now that i am going to have expenses on fixing up a vehicle i have had only one week. I hope they help me. These are problems a normal inspections should of caught. I feel as if i was sold a car that needed repairs. Feeling very worried. More

Jim Weaver was very considerate and patient about our special family requirements for a pre-owned vehicle (ie pet allergies) .
