Arrived around 7 am cars backed up Thought it would be sometime to have a service person get to my Highlander. Surprise no sooner than I drove on to the line the service person cam to m Thought it would be sometime to have a service person get to my Highlander. Surprise no sooner than I drove on to the line the service person cam to my vehicle took my name went to the building and within minutes back out with my number and invited me to enjoy their coffee. He said we will have you in shortly and probable be less than thirty minutes-this was my first schedule appointment 5,000 miles completed in less than thirty minutes sat down and explained and showed me on sheet what they checked topped off and performed for my schedule. Then asked if I was concerned about anything that I may have forgotten on original conversation and said we are happy you purchased the Highlander and they will look forward to see me on the next schedule visit and wished me a Great Day. Issue not resolved Dave in the service department was very thorough and professional in my recent service. He provided me options along with his recommendations. My only problem with the service department and the reason I will not always recommend the company (Toyota Inc. and Toyota Des Moines) to my friends is the ongoing problem with my AM radio. It has not worked since the day the car was delivered. The radio was replaced a couple of times. Travis and his employees work diligently to repair it but nothing worked. While I like both of our Toyotas I will never buy another one. My poor ratings of the service department are based on the radio issue. My last appointment with Dave for routine service was just fine. More
