This dealer was not transparent about the certified 2016 Scion IA not having floor mats. When I purchased the used vehicle, I noticed some white car wash sheets on the floor. I didn’t think much of it becau Scion IA not having floor mats. When I purchased the used vehicle, I noticed some white car wash sheets on the floor. I didn’t think much of it because it was past 9:00pm plus when I finalized the contract it was around 10:30 ish PM. I had no time to inspect, plus in my experience purchasing used certified cars - they all come with floor mats. What really bothered me, however, was that the next day when I noticed the mats missing, even after checking the trunk, was that the dealer gave me the round around. I called to ask to be transferred to the sales person and left a voicemail - no response. I called again and was transferred to the person who first helped me and he said to contact the sales person. I asked for an email and wasn’t given one. Then I called again and asked the receptionist for an email and no support there. So I went online to fill out a form under contact and explained the situation and finally another person that helped me at the beginning (edguardo Perez) called back and stated that the dealers won’t provide the floor mats. I was disappointed given the fact that this person told me that he kept the keys when I was trying to buy the car and to come back the next day, I didn’t believe him. So I called him out about him not being honest and immediately took offense to hung up the phone after. He said that he was going to tell the sales person or someone else law to contact me and I haven’t heard back ever since. I asked him for an email and wasn’t provided one too. I am disappointed at the customer service and the fact that there was no transparency that the floor mats were not included. Do I really have to check before purchasing a certified car for mats? With this negative experience I always will now - it’s ridiculous! More
