BUYER BEWARE! 2013 Experience in Used Sales Department I brought in my Toyota Corolla for a trade-in estimated, and while it was being reviewed, I went to check out the used vehicles and was helped out by I brought in my Toyota Corolla for a trade-in estimated, and while it was being reviewed, I went to check out the used vehicles and was helped out by Luz. I fell in love with a Certified Pre-Owned 2013 Scion tC with 11k miles, took it for a test drive and was happy with the features listed, which included LoJack security system. My Toyota was appraised super low, but I was desperate to get rid of it so I went for it and discussed finance. They ran my credit, made their offer, I was able to negotiate it a little bit, so I felt I was actually getting a good deal. Then, when I'm just about to sign the contract, they tell me "Surprise! This is not a Certified vehicle, we were wrong. But we're not willing to lower the price." I should've walked out right then and there, so I take responsibility for being fooled by Toyota of DTLA. This review is to alert other buyers, because from what I read, this is a common practice they pull. I was unhappy with this new discovery, but I really wanted the car, so I negotiated a maintenance package and they accepted right away. Another red flag I ignored. We then move forward and I see that the financed amount is about 2k higher than what was previously agreed. Another surprise! The LoJack that was included in the features is now extra! The tag price actually didn't include a feature that was listed in the "included features". Red flag. Now, looking back, it seriously seems like I was part of a gag to see how much more of an idiot I was. I am embarrassed that I fell for it. I had the LoJack removed but still paid for it, because I accepted the tag price that was supposed to include it. I ended up purchasing the car for an inflated amount, because I came to find out that my lack of research cost me $10k. The same vehicle was being sold new with 0% APR for 5K less than what I paid for. Seriously, I'm glad these reviews are anonymous, because I was a complete idiot on this. I try to see this as "tuition money", because I learned from it, but I could've used without. There's a Honda right across the street, I should've refused to give this scam dealership my business. Oh also, the Service Dept. SUCKS. Danny is a great guy, but the service provided by his department sucks. However, that's for a different review. Are engine brock down at 49000 miles we broght it to fix and services department was the worst they blame us for the cause with out prove..we contacted the manufacturer and they also left us on the street with out a car..this process took to months fighting back and forward..they made me sing a document that i authorize the fix and if i dont they will not help me solved the situation. And in that document said that i was responsible of paying 2500 for the tear down if i was blame for it...so i didn't had no other option then sign the document. I called my extended warranty and they also said the same thing...i was speechless...after me signing, they call me next day services agent ruben blaming me for break down of my car he said that there was no oil on the car and it was over headed..i told him that there was no signs of oil light or anything but they refuse to accept..to make it short they never fix my car with extended warranty they made me paid service department 1500 for the tear down if not they threatened to put my car in lean at the bmv with out reason or prove of what cause the break down...i had to tow my car paid the tow truck to get my car out and then had to pick up my engine in pieces in my truck no one wanted to help me put the engine in my truck so disappointed...even the mechanic that was fixing my car gave me the worst services was loud and so disrespectful told me that he didn't need to help me put my engine on my truck that he doesn't get paid for that i couldnt believe it..!!!!!!! They will tell you that you are approved for an auto loan and insist BEWARE of the lying and deceit from this dealership, I went in with fair credit. They will tell you that you are approved for an auto loan and insist on getting you to come to the showroom. When you show interest in a car, they start off by offering you a terrible rate and then run your credit SEVERAL times WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION and damage your credit score. Once you sign the paperwork and they tell you everything is good, then they will call you and say you have not been financed and then upon looking at your credit report, you will see multiple credit inquiries from a number of banks that they gave permission on your behalf to run your credit. I specifically did not sign a paper saying that I gave permission for my credit to be run and they illegally ran it without my permission. After selling my old car and thought I was dealing with honest people to get a new car, I was let down and instead experienced forgery and dishonestness. This vindictive behavior needs to be put to an end and I intend to take this to take legal action and bring this to the attention of the media. More

Also came in here to get my recirculation vent fixed because it was broken. My friend even told me they will blame the subwoofer installation as the reason to its malfunction. It turns out he was right. He was the one who installed the power wire through the firewall and to break the arm for the recirculation vent is pretty hard to get to with an elbow. Talk about stupid lazy xxxxx. More

I had originally been dealing with a representative named Carol over the phone. She was nice and polite and recommended I speak with someone named Julio. We set up an appointment. Well, I decided to buy sooner than the appointment. I walked in and after about 5 minutes, a lady, (whose name escapes me for the moment), greeted me. I asked for Julio and she advised me he was on vacation. I told her I was there because I had seen a car liked on their website. The lady asked me when I had seen the car online. I told her about a week ago. She simply stated that the car will probably not be there. Mind you, I did not even tell her the car I found online. She just kept saying that if I saw it online, they had probably sold it. Not impressed so far, I asked if they had any used cars with a manual transmission. She stated if they did it would be in their lot across the street and basically pointed in that direction implying I could go check. I asked her if I had to go and hunt for the car myself in their huge lot or could I possibly have someone help me. She looked around and grabbed a man named Barry, who may have been on a break because he was drinking a soda. She asked him if he could help us. He reluctantly accepted and escorted my boyfriend and I across the street to their used lot. I told him I was looking for a used Honda with a manual transmission. He stated he didn't know if he had anything like that and said,"I have this Honda over there, (pointing), but it's an automatic." I stated again I was looking for a manual transmission. Then with attitude, he said,"I don't have anything with a manual. Why don't you try the Honda dealer next door." That was all I needed to hear. I said thank you and we left. The level of Customer Service at this dealership is utterly embarrassing. I have half a mind to go over and THANK them for being so ridiculous because it drove me back to Honda where I purchased a car Iove. I DO NOT recommend dealing with this dealership. It is a completely standard service that took a total of 3 hours, while it should have taken 1 hour at most. After I got my car back, I heard a strange noise coming from the front, so I went back to the dealership and asked them to check it again. They explained to me there was no problem and I they couldn't hear or see anything, ignoring my requests. Over the next two days the noise became louder and louder, when finally I discovered the lug nut was completely unscrewed. I called the dealership again and they seemed not to care, they talked to me in a condescending tone and send me away after tightening the single lug nut and acting like it wasn't a big deal. I spend a high amount of money on their service and didn't expect them to take it so irresponsibly especially since the front wheel could have separated at HWY speeds and much worse things could have happened. More

I walked in they were friendly, they were going to check my truck, spoke to them over the phone agreed they were going to fix my brakes for $150 we agreed big mistake always get it in writting. Next day went to pick up my Tundra, when I got my bill it was almost $300. I almost had a heart attack $300 for front brakes it is ridiculous. I argued with marco and told him that, what type of business they were running, I am very disappointed after so many years of using Toyota dealer. What upsets me is that he should of told me the truth of the cost of the brakes since the beginning. I wouldnt of minded, what bothers me is the fact that he lied. I ended up paying $200, which was alright I guess but I am very disappointed with Toyota dealer. Especially right now that the car industries are doing so bad. I was thinking of buying a toyota sienna for my wife for christmas, but not anymore. I think im turning to Nissan. More
