Through the internet, I contacted several dealerships including Toyota, Honda, VW, Chevrolet, and Ford. Out of all the dealerships, I quickly learned that Jamie Wheeler-Semrad from Toyota of Gladstone was the salesperson to interact with. From the start, her affable demeanor stood out. Her candid responses were a stark change from the opinionated, highly pressured, and sometimes condescending conversations I had with salesreps from other dealerships. She was patient enough to walk me through various Toyota models and help me narrow my search down to a new 2020 Corolla without any BS. This was very impressive because I've been known to be picky and meticulous when it comes to buying anything, let alone a car. I've had previous experience as a waiter in several restaurants and am currently in the medical field, and let me tell you, JAMIE HAS OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. After I decided to finance my new car, I had the pleasure of meeting David Chae. Again, David was also very straightforward and friendly. At no point did I feel pressured to purchase any unnecessary packages or accessories. Instead, I felt that both the recommendations of Jamie and David were for my benefit. In addition, from the email and text conversations I had with Jamie, she did not attempt to lure me in with dishonest information and did not try any shady manipulations once I arrived at the dealership. Best service department experience ever I have been taking our new 2018 4Runner and Camry Hybrid to the Toyota of Gladstone service department, to the purple team, and specifically Austin Ts I have been taking our new 2018 4Runner and Camry Hybrid to the Toyota of Gladstone service department, to the purple team, and specifically Austin Tsuruta. Austin and the Purple team have been fantastic, and Austin has gone out of his way to work on my concerns. He listens carefully and diligently works towards solutions. As a retired master technician, I understand how difficult it can be working with customers concerns and identifying the issues. He has been patient and capable of navigating the process with someone who has worked in the industry, and has been able to resolve the warranty issues, satisfy my worries and done so in a polite, concise way, and always welcomes me with a smile and a handshake. I have had mediocre service at other Toyota dealerships in the metro area, but have found a new Toyota service department that has earned my confidence and business.
