Hassle Free I had an excellent experience with Matt Taylor at Toyota of Gladstone. I had decided last Sunday to buy a newer vehicle for 2016. I found something I had an excellent experience with Matt Taylor at Toyota of Gladstone. I had decided last Sunday to buy a newer vehicle for 2016. I found something on their website and filled out a credit application with Toyota Motor. Matt followed up with me very early the next day and kept in constant contact. I have a very busy job and the nature of my job does not allow me to talk on the phone to external parties much because I'm usually managing a team of representatives who are on the phones and sometimes I jump on as well. I'm also fielding a large number of work emails and don't always get to my own in a timely manner. Matt went out of his way to help me find what I was looking for and texted me to clarify my needs. Once we chatted briefly back and forth he found something that met my requirements. I was pleasantly surprised that he found a gem of a car...something I...really...wanted...and within the budget I was willing to spend...and I can be a bit persnickety. From here it was a simple matter of filling out the paperwork and letting their team make it happen for me. Matt checked in often and was cheerful and supportive. I'm not usually much for salespeople to be honest....and I've done sales before myself so I know the tricks of the trade....but Matt represented everything a sales person should be...attentive...positive...helpful.....informative...collaborative. His style was very polished but approachable and it was clear why he is the manager of the internet sales team. A special shout-out goes to their loan assistant (I'm not sure what her official title was). She was very efficient but helpful and made the final sign and prep portion of the deal as quick and painless as possible. In fact I was very impressed with how on the ball she was with getting it done quickly. All in all I had a very positive experience at this dealership and because of the supportive attention I received it encourages me to do business with them again. Being in a customer service environment myself my standards are very high and this dealership met and exceeded what I anticipated in terms of a positive buying experience...and I'm not the type to gush unless I am gob-smacked. I had worked with him years earlier at another dealership when looking for the exact Toyota I wanted at Kenny Khzam helped us find the perfect car. I had worked with him years earlier at another dealership when looking for the exact Toyota I wanted at a price we could afford. This January, my husband took our older 4-Runner in for service and ran into Khzam. Although we were not in the market for a newer car, Khzam told him they had just received a car that met my model preference, had every feature I wanted, was only a year old, had low mileage and a very good price. He suggested that I might like to test drive it while our car was being serviced. We purchased the car by the end of day. Khzam is knowledgable and a true customer advocate. He has followed up to ensure the car is working well for us and to answer any questions. We had excellent service and advocacy from every professional we worked with. Thanks also to John Hill in sales and Vic Meese in finance. We highly recommend Gladstone Toyota and have shared our enthusiasm with friends, family and neighbors. More

We pretty much knew what we wanted and Kermit was great working with us at finding the right car at the right price. Kermit talked to us about options, but without being obnoxious, and we never felt like we were being jerked around (unlike with many other dealerships we talked to before coming to this one). Once we found the right car and decided on the price, the paperwork was smooth sailing -- no sudden extra fees or need to talk to the manager about a different price. Kermit then was really helpful in setting us up and getting us on the road -- helping us connect our phones, setting up the Entune system, explaining different bells and whistles, etc. Kermit is a good guy and we highly recommend him. after the dust cleared Went to Gladstone for the 30,000 mile maintenance on my 20013 Tundra and was shown how easy it would be to upgrade from a 2013 to a 2016. My problem t Went to Gladstone for the 30,000 mile maintenance on my 20013 Tundra and was shown how easy it would be to upgrade from a 2013 to a 2016. My problem that I ran into was it cost me a lot more to swap vehicles. I was told that the canopy top on the 2013 would fit and the service department would install the top. After they installed it, they pointed out a 1 inch gap between the rear cab and the canopy after I signed for the new truck. I took the canopy back to where I purchased it and they were previously aware the 2016 rear bed was an inch longer then the 2013 and in order to properly correct this gap I need to replace the canopy with the correct size. So I had to order a new top and be out $1500.00. I took the word of the salesman and his manager that the canopy would fit the new truck, a simple tape measurement could have saved me a big headache. Also, I recently purchased 10 ply tires for my 2013 truck and was told that they can be installed on the new truck; however, I was never given any credit for the tires from the new truck. My buying experience was not pleasant, I was at the dealership from 10:00AM until after 6:00PM. I felt that I was pressured and rushed into this purchase. I was very happy with the 2013 Tundra and after I spend more money, I may develop the same feelings for the 2016. I must say that the finance and service departments were the shining stars of the dealership, if only the sales group would have been more knowledgeable of their product, I might have not bought the 2016 Tundra knowing that the canopy would not fit but I would have a been the same very satisfied customer with my older Tundra. More
