My husband and I have purchased six vehicles from Fenton Family dealerships, three from Kris at Toyota of Keene. Our most recent purchase was a 2011 Sienna. As a whole the dealership is very friendly, welcoming, and not pushy in the least, making it the kind of place you feel comfortable looking around and asking questions. Our experience with Kris has been outstanding. His knowledge of the Toyota product line is impressive. There was not a question asked that he did not have the answer to, and if he was unsure he looked it up, giving us the confidence that the product we were getting had the features we were looking for. Kris worked hard to not only be competitive but also beat the price of other dealerships to win our business. If you’re looking for a non-threatening car buying experience, this would be the place. If your looking for a great salesperson that is knowledgeable and down to earth, Kris would be your man. I would highly recommend this dealership without any reservations or hesitations. More
Mike was extremely helpful with requests we made to the car. He even found a defect (due to a scratch acquired in transportation of the new vehicle on a molding on door frame) that we in our excitement of car. For every question I had, she would have or get the answer that was acceptable. The dealership didn't have the car I wanted on the lot. Sales Associate, Jaime Rios then contacted me. We talked about the features I wanted & my color preferences. One day later he called to say that a car matching my requirements was available. I sent a nominal deposit & we drove down from VT 2 days later. Jaime was exceptionally personable & helpful. Even the person who worked with us to pay for the vehicle was polite & informative. I came to this dealer for a used Toyota which I found for sale over the Internet. The car had some noise which was coming from the strut mounts and I had a GREAT experience with the sales specialist Joel Rob sale over the Internet. This guy went the entire extra mile to see how he could assist and make sure that the problems are fixed and make the deal happen. He even got his hands dirty to find out where the noise is coming from. He won me as a customer with his respectful and non-pushy attitude. When he called the used cars manager to see what he could do was a disaster in terms of customer bonding relationship. The manager was sarcastic, pushy and intimidating which made me to walk away from this dealer and not coming back at all. How sad to see that service is not in the managers' mind. Don't they realize that in this day and age we (the customers) talk and have friends who trust us what we say? More
As I am in Banking I see alot of people that are looking for new or second hand cars. In discussions with them I ask about what they are looking for, where the looking, etc. I would never hesitate to recomm for new or second hand cars. I have the utmost confidence in his honest and "over-the-top" helpfulness. I hestitate to use the word "Salesperson", as in the past people have tended to look at that term in a negative light. But, if I could say that "Shawn Waters" is the absolute best person that any dealership could possibly ask for based upon his extensive knowledge about his products and the service provided by the Keene Toyota Volvo Dealership. Luckily for you the space you have given us to rate your employees doesn't allow me to gone quite as detailed as I would like. There many instances where I have heard back from customer about how much he helped them, even those that were working with another person to start with. Suffice to say, Shawn Waters is the "Absolute Best" sales person you could ever hope to keep in your employ! More
Let's face it. This is a business that doesn't exactly have the best of reputations (sadly due to a few bad eggs and irresponsible media portrayal. As such, when buying a vehicle I have always been a bit trepidatious. Fortunately, I had the pleasure of purchasing from Shawn, which I can say was a very pleasant experience. Not once did I think that he was "just trying to close the deal" or just trying to get me in some random car to get me out of there. He took the time to really listen, and truly focused on finding a vehicle that was right for me, not one that was right to make the quick sale. I will say, given my prior car buying experiences, I was surprised at the high level of care I received. I suppose I shouldn't have been though. That's what the car buying experience is *supposed* to be like. I am quite thankful that I have had this experience with Shawn, as he proved to me that not everyone out there in the car sales business is just out to sell you whatever and get you out the door (something the previous salespeople at other dealers definitely attempted). He is truly a rare breed among salesmen, and someone that the others I have dealt with in the past should aspire to be more like. More
