Horrible Experience w Max Ciotti I was very unsatisfied with my Service Counselor Max Ciotti. I originally had gone in for my 55k oil change in September 2018 and also had Max Ciotti I was very unsatisfied with my Service Counselor Max Ciotti. I originally had gone in for my 55k oil change in September 2018 and also had Max Ciotti as my service counselor. He noticed that I needed new tires and I agreed. But when he first showed me two estimates they included an "upsell" service charge of $70 for an alignment that for one I did not ask for and two I did not need. Then when I mentioned that the prices he had for the OE Toyo A-29 NanoEnergy tires for my 2017 Prius and the Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max tire prices where well above market value of what I can buy them for online, HE CLEARLY SAID THAT HE WOULD PRICE-MATCH THE PRICE OF ANY TIRES OF ANY COMPETITOR AS LONG AS I BRING IN PRINTED OUT PROOF ON PAPER. Fast Forward 3 months and it is now December 13, 2018 when I came in with a printed out HARD PAPER THAT SATISFIED THE "IN WRITING REQUIREMENT" of what Wal-Mart was selling the Goodyear Fuel Max Assurance tires for on their website which was for 94.34. I multiplied by 4 to replace all four tires. I added sales tax. I asked him how much it was for the installation service to put them on, which he said was $60. Then I asked what other things are added to the bill and he said a CA Recycling fee of $7 and $4 for weights for the balancing. I added it all up on paper and the total cost came out to $484 and change. BUT when I asked him if he could go ahead and do it at that price matched price he said he could not do it, because that price did not come with road hazard, which automatically came included in the tires the dealer sold. I said okay well then let me call around and see if I can get that price from a competitor with road hazard included. So thats exactly what I did I called "The Tire Store" in Lancaster, CA and they agreed to put in the exact same Goodyear Fuel Max tires WITH ROAD HAZARD INCLUDED for an out-the-door total lrice of $480. When I told Max Ciotti that I had found a competitor who would sell me the 4 Goodyear Fuel Max tires WITH ROAD HAZARD INCLUDED, HE SIMPLY REFUSED TO PRICE MATCH!!! HE SAID "I SPOKE TO MY SUPERVISOR AND HE SAID HE WILL NOT DO THE $480 PRICE MATCH" I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED TO BE LIED TO NOT ONLY BY MAX CIOTTI, BUT ALSO LET DOWN BY HIS ALLEGED SUPERVISOR AND FOR SURE BY ANOTHER OF HIS COWORKER NAMED "Stephanie Santiago" who I tried to get help from by telling her that I was having a problem with Max who was refusing to honor the price-match policy on tires. She rudely brushed me off, angrily telling me "We [coworkers] are all on the same team and we don't go against each other." So with Max Ciotti, Stephanie Santiago, and Max Ciotti's alleged supervisor all rejecting my efforts to price match and SPEND MY HARD-EARNED $480 AT THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPT, I had no recourse BUT TO FORCEFULLY HAVE TO LEAVE THE DEALERSHIP TO BUY AND SPEND MY $480 CASH AT THE TIRE SHOP THAT SAID WOULD SELL ME THE SAME EXACT 4 GOODYEAR ASSURANCE FUEL MAX TIRES FOR MY PRIUS, WOULD INSTALL THEM, BALANCE THEM, AND VERY IMPORTANTLY ALSO INCLUDE ROAD HAZARD WARRANTY ON ALL 4 TIRES FOR THE OUT-THE-DOOR PRICE OF $480. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY EXPERIENCE IN TRYING TO REPLACE ALL 4 OF MY ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT (OE) TIRES AT THE TOYOTA OF LANCASTER DEALERSHIP. I WAS BLATANLY AND REPEATEDLY LIED TO BY MAX CIOTTI. FIRST, I WAS LIED TO THAT HE WOULD HONOR A PRICE MATCH ON ANY TIRES AS LONG AS I PRINTED OUT THE PRICE OF THE TIRES. THEN, SECONDLY, WHEN HE TRIED TO MANIPULATE THE SITUATION BY INVOKING THE "ROAD HAZARD WARRANTY AUTOMATICALLY BEING INCLUDED IN TIRES" EXCUSE AND REASON FOR NOT PRICE MATCHING THE TIRES, HE LIED TO ME A SECOND TIME ABOUT PRICE MATCHING WHEN I DID FIND A TIRE SHOP WHO WOULD SELL ME, INSTALL TIRES, BALANCE TIRES, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY INCLUDE ROAD HAZARD WARRANTY ON ALL 4 TIRES FOR A PRICE OF $480. THEREFORE, HE LIED TO ME A SECOND TIME BY FALSELY SAYING HE WOULD PRICE MATCH IF ROAD HAZARD WAS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF $480. MAX CIOTTI LIED TO ME ON TWO SEPERATE OCCASIONS AND HE IS IN DESPERATE NEED OF RETRAINING. AS IS STEPHANIE SANTIAGO. I AM UNSURE AND EVEN DOUBTFUL OF THE ALLEGED INVOLVEMENT OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR BECAUSE I WAS ONLY TOLD BY MAX CIOTTI THAT THE SUPERVISOR REFUSED TO PRICE MATCH AND WE HAVE ALREADY ESTABLISHED MAX CIOTTI'S PENCHANT FOR LYING.
