Car has no problems going in...but does now I took my 2013 Avalon Hybrid Limited in for oil change and 45,000 mile service. My first time here. After I got my car back, the rear-view window s I took my 2013 Avalon Hybrid Limited in for oil change and 45,000 mile service. My first time here. After I got my car back, the rear-view window screen quit working. Same day I got car back. Push the button, nothing happens. I have had the car six years, never a problem. The day Toyota Lancaster has it, the screen stops working? So I make an appointment to have it looked at for next Saturday. They were going to charge me a diagnosis fee, but it was waived. I get a call saying "The motor is burnt out, no longer works. That is why the screen won't move. It is a kit, and it costs $1,700 to repair." I said "Don't repair it, not worth the money. If you can, put the screen down." I go pick up my car. Guess what, motor works. The screen goes up and down now (that they unjammed it). Problem is it makes a LOUD noise when going down. Not sure how my rear view mirrow went from working, to not working, to the motor being burnt out, but it still going up and down. I will not bring my car back to them. I should have listened to friends and co workers about using them and avoided them. More
