Called every day for a week no call back I bought a car from Toyota of Manhattan Dec 26 2016. It's my 3rd car from this dealer, my 7th car in a row from Toyota in general. I called the finance department to find out why they put 2 hard inquiries on my credit report in the same day as it's dragging my score down. I called every day this week and left a message with Lisa at the desk. Not one call back. When they wanted to sell me a car they called me non stop! Now that I need something from them, nothing. Not one return call in a week. For this reason I will never get another car there and will never refer them again. Completely disgusted. More

Very unprofessional! An absolute nightmare! I bought a 2016 certified pre-owned corolla s+ more than a month ago. 11am - I arrived, a sales associate started working wit An absolute nightmare! I bought a 2016 certified pre-owned corolla s+ more than a month ago. 11am - I arrived, a sales associate started working with me. I told him I want to drive out ASAP. He started moving things forward. 3pm - he said everything is in order and that he was handing my case over to the next person and left for the day. So far so good. 7:30pm - AFTER WAITING FOUR HOURS, I was directed to one of the offices upstairs to finish up on the paperwork. I walk in and the person apologizes for the delay and SAYS IT IS MY FAULT FOR HAVING CRAPPY CREDIT. And for the next 30mins, HE TRIES TO HUSTLE ME into buying worthless extended warranties of all forms BY BEING INCREASINGLY AGGRESSIVE AND CONDESCENDING. At one point he even said that I was being ignorant and idiotic and that he was trying to 'xxxxing help me'. At this point I lose my temper and tell him to do the paperwork and stop selling. The sale was made 8 hours ago, it is time to close. He asks me to leave the room and wait outside after 15 minutes or so I get called back and the sales manager is there to finish up. Bottom line, no customer should be treated the way I was treated. They are very unprofessional and I will not recommend this place. And here's the kicker - I still haven't received my plates. My dealer plates have expired so I can't drive the car! No information has been forthcoming and I have called them multiple times. I just get the runaround. Thumbs down. More

Terrible experience - Refund not made while Fraud made I visited Toyota of Manhattan 3 weeks ago. I liked pre-owned Jeep Grand Cherokee and left deposit of $500, but in the end I decided not to buy the car I visited Toyota of Manhattan 3 weeks ago. I liked pre-owned Jeep Grand Cherokee and left deposit of $500, but in the end I decided not to buy the car for some reasons. Hence I requested the sales person to refund the deposit and he said he will do so immediately. 1 week passed but I still did not receive refund, so I asked him about the situation. He said the service department had already made a refund. Two weeks passed since then but until now, I still do not receive the refund. Even worse, I found a fraud payment using my credit card. As I just moved to the US and haven't used my credit card anywhere else, it is obvious the salesperson or his colleague illegally used my credit card for their own payments. This problem is not solved yet and I will take any measures to get the money back and for Toyota of Manhattan to compensate the money, loss of time and the emotional damages. So far there is no response from the salesperson nor from the management of the dealership although I have already written to them. I will continue to report my terrible experience until other innocent customers do not have same experience at this dealership. More
