Visited the local Toyota dealership yesterday and purchased a new Camry (our third Toyota). Paul Stokes was so easy to work with.. It was the easiest car purchase I have ever experienced. So nice to drive away having enjoyed the whole process. Paul deserves all the credit for this. I have already recommended to other family membersthat they go out to Toyota and speak with Paul about buying a new car. He is a wonderful asset for Toyota. In dealing with the salespeople, I assumed that they would be forthcoming in giving me the best price possible, particularly since I am a new customer. I went to toyota to get a new car. I talked to gray and set up an appointment. He was really nice showed me the car i wanted and i was in love with it. i told him my budget and he said he can work somethin set up an appointment. Gray told me since it was the last one and a new one wouldnt be in for a while he can give me a discount. i thought discount, great, ill learn to love it. Then he said id get the military discount so im my head im thinking discounts discounts discounts. I tol dhim my budget in the beginning and when it got to paperwork time he came back about 3 times with an amount that was way higher than my budget. i mean i could still afford it but i was going to be tight. i was so into the car i had my fussy son with me i trusted him. he never really told me the real price id be paying. Weeks later when i finally decided to look at the receipts i noticed im going to be paying soo much for the next couple of years. I analyzed numbers more and i didnt get ripped off per say but with all the discounts and rebates i was told it was going to get i feel like i did. I am now living paycheck to paycheck. I am not blaming anybody but i definately feel like i got cheated. I dont think he was a good salesperson ive been to other dealers trying to trade my car and they were all definately better they tried to find something that worked for me and my budget. They didnt know about my trade in. It was basically the worst mistake ive ever made going to toyota of new bern. More

I had a great experience at Toyota of New Bern recently. We arrived at the dealership and I was asked if I needed help very shortly after arriving. He was knowledgable about the Subaru brand and answered all of our questions. Doug and everyone we interacted with were very efficient and professional. I was directed to your dealership through the USAA car buying service as a perferred dealer. I tend to want to avoid dealerships due to the potential for high pressure tactics but at Toyota of New Bern the experience was not high pressured which I appreciated - thanks guys :-) Although I really had my eye on the "historic" silver Subaru (I found out later that my wife's brother in law went surfing with his neighbor in that very car) I think the 2013 Outback was a more worry-free choice for long trips.
