I had a really disappointing experience with a blue Toyota Tacoma listed for $26,500. I messaged them on Facebook Marketplace, and the salesperson suggested $20,000 might be reasonable. So, I drove in Toyota Tacoma listed for $26,500. I messaged them on Facebook Marketplace, and the salesperson suggested $20,000 might be reasonable. So, I drove in that same day after they told me to come meet them at the dealership. When I got there I immediately noticed a dent near the front bumper and headlight—none of that damage was shown in the listing photos. When we sat down to talk numbers, I brought up the $20,000 mention again. Suddenly, they claimed the truck was actually listed at $29,000, and the lowest they’d go was $27,000. I felt completely misled—after being told $20,000 sounded reasonable, I expected maybe $21,000 or $22,000, but they didn’t even budge below $27,000. The lack of transparency, both in the price and the hidden damage, made this a frustrating and untrustworthy experience. I wasted two hours of driving for this, and the lack of transparency was a huge disappointment. I won’t be trusting this dealership again. More
