This was my first visit to Toyota of N Austin for service. My Highlander needed the 30K maintenance AND I needed to get a new Smart Key Fob because I stupidly left mine in my pocket and washed it on service. My Highlander needed the 30K maintenance AND I needed to get a new Smart Key Fob because I stupidly left mine in my pocket and washed it on the Heavy Duty Cycle. Jared Jones was my Service Advisor and explained all the maintenance items needed, gave me a good deal on the new Smart Key including programming PLUS took extra time to show me dozens of little rodent prints all over my engine compartment and gave me practical suggestions for keeping those critters away from my engine. I usually park in the driveway and have never seen any sign of rodents in or near my home so those paw prints were a real eye-opener. Thankfully, they had not damaged anything yet but I'm headed out now to find the ingredients for an engine compartment "sachet" to deter them from coming back. Thanks Jared for all the help. More

I had given a recommended review the first time I got maintenance at this dealership since I had a fast and friendly experience, BUT yesterday, I didn’t get my car until TWO HOURS LATER. Mind you, I had an appointment and came to the dealership on time, and I wasn’t even told why my vehicle took so long. There were even other people who arrived after me who got their car back before me, and if it wasn’t for me messaging their text services to check up on my vehicle, who knows how much longer I would’ve been waiting. I had the WORST customer service experience today. I went for a state inspection and it took THREE HOURS. After 2 hours, I was given a failed inspection because “the tinting was illegal,” I then point I went for a state inspection and it took THREE HOURS. After 2 hours, I was given a failed inspection because “the tinting was illegal,” I then pointed out to Zachary that I got the windows tinted at this dealership specifically because I wanted it to be done well and be able to PASS inspection. He told me the “guy didn’t know I got the windows done here” and said it would just be a “few minutes to get it corrected.” I waited 25 minutes and when I was standing by my car, the same guy who failed me, Adrain, slipped the passing/corrected inspection on my hood when I wasn’t looking and didn’t tell me….Zachary didn’t tell me either. Then, a nice gentleman who was not helping me told me, “oh I just saw some guy slip some papers behind you on your car, let’s see what that is.” It was the corrected forms. I then told Zachary that it was literally his job to ensure I got the correct forms. He was on his phone the majority of the time I was there watching cooking videos on his phone. If I did that at my job, I’d be fired by now. Again, the WORST experience ever at this dealership. Zachary either needs to change his attitude or get the boot. He never apologized, said thank you, nor seeemed to care about his job at all. More

Went to get my wipers replaced and a service check up. Could not reach them to pick me up after serviced. When done I needed a ride. Called all day and no one answered.
