Worst Dealership Experience Ever... Avoid at all Costs. I've never in my life had such a horrible experience at a dealership until I visited Toyota of North Charlotte.This dealership is really the worst of I've never in my life had such a horrible experience at a dealership until I visited Toyota of North Charlotte.This dealership is really the worst of the worst. We arrive to take a look at the used vehicles available on their car lot. Since its very hot and humid outside, we ask the dealership if they have any water or something to drink to offer while we look around and are told that they don't have anything. We happened to have our own drinks in our vehicle and walk back to get our drinks out of the vehicle and are later told that we aren't allowed to bring drinks either. We should have taken this as the first sign of a horrible dealership; however, we continue looking and ultimately we settle upon two used vehicles that we are interested in taking a look at in more details. We ask the sales consultant for more details about the vehicle and she didn't have a clue except to read what was on the sticker on the window. We further inquired about the newer models of the same vehicle (since the dealership also sells new models of these vehicles) and she also didn't have any additional details. We decide to take the car out for a test drive and everything checks out fine with the vehicle and we decided we are interested, but ask to take a look at one more. The sales consultant asks us to wait for her manager and her manager comes out and tries to force us to commit to buying the car by signing a blank sheet of paper before we've even settled on the vehicle or begun considering negotiations and refused to let us look at the second vehicle. We politely refuse and he continues to pressure us saying they need a commitment before they will waste their time. We continue to politely refuse and he goes to talk to his "Director of Sales" while we decide to go look around some more and as we start to walk out the door to evaluate the other vehicles the sales manager motions for us to come back. It seems as though after speaking with his 'Director of Sales" that they have "decided" to increase the cost of the car and come back with a price 20% higher than the advertised price of the vehicle with over $1000 of added costs to the final price of the vehicle. Of course, they wonder why we wouldn't commit before any details have been worked out or decisions made... that's exactly the reason. We attempt to counter with a very fair out the door price that we would consider for the vehicle and the dealership continued to tack on additional fees and costs and refused to offer any sort of explanation or customer service. The best explanation we got was " these are our cars and you'll pay what we tell you to "... sadly, at that point my family and I decided to leave because we've never before been treated the way we were at Toyota of North Charlotte while shopping for a vehicle. We really liked the vehicle and were even considering a second vehicle purchase; however, at this point I wouldn't buy from this dealership if it was my last choice; luckily for me, there are many more options. More

I can honestly say that I've truly enjoyed my visit. all the sales representatives tha yesterday I purchased a vehicle from Toyota of North Charlotte. I can honestly say that I've truly enjoyed my visit. all the sales representatives that I work with was very professional and friendly. Most importantly they were very knowledgeable of the different financing options that would suit me best. Joe Daniels it was a real pleasure to work with. he explained all paperwork in full detail and assured me if I had any questions at any given time I will be more than welcome to call him. So thanks everybody at Toyota for making my experience pleasurable. More
Terrible coordination I brought my 4Runner in for a simple serpentine belt change and to change out a faulty one yr old battery. The service took about 1.5 hours in total w I brought my 4Runner in for a simple serpentine belt change and to change out a faulty one yr old battery. The service took about 1.5 hours in total with an appointment. When I went outside I looked to see what the new belt looked like, but I really could not see a difference. As it turns out, they never even changed the belt, but they did charge me for it!!!!! $128.00 and they never even did the work!!! I was just about to call the better business bureau when I had a chance to look a couple days later... when the dealership actually called me and admitted their mistake (two days later). At least they had integrity I suppose. And they did offer to give me a free oil change. . But, when I brought the car in to have the belt put on (second attempt) they installed it incorrectly and it squealed horribly. I brought it back several days later and they determined that the mechanic had indeed installed the belt incorrectly by having it not lined up correctly with the grooves in the pullies (it was off by one groove). It was a simple fix, but seriously... Three attempts to change a belt??? I can honestly say that these guys are utterly incompetent and I can't even imagine allowing them to tune my kid's skateboard let alone my vehicle. Run! Find another mechanic! More

Every time I have come for servicing, there have been suggestions to replace parts. Its like milking money every time with different things. I am not an expert and hence gave them the benefit of doubt un suggestions to replace parts. Its like milking money every time with different things. I am not an expert and hence gave them the benefit of doubt until last time when the rep mentioned all tires are worn out and they should be replaced. This time I was sure they are simply trying to make money since I had changed 2 tires recently. Upon further research, the service rep found out that I indeed had replaced 2 tires. I don't have any more faith in this service center and will not be visiting again. More

I went in thinking that I would not be able to walk out with a deal that was conducive with my needs, however they far exceeded my e North Charlotte. Gary handled me with care and was very supportive and knowledgeable. Sean actively listened to my story and he went above and beyond in getting me the interest rate and payment that would work for me. That is exactly what he did, he worked for me. This is the best car experience I have ever, yes I said ever, had. I want to tell the world to head on over to Sean Pires at Toyota of North Charlotte. I am 110% convinced and can speak from experience that he will look out for your best interests and you will be a happy customer when you walk away, strike that, DRIVE away in your new vehicle. More
