I serviced my 2004 Scion XB at another dealership for almost 10 years. I moved an hour away from that dealership so it is not convenient and I had to find one closer to my house and work. I've used their services a few times over the past couple of years. I questioned their service on a couple of occasions, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. I had a routine oil change done late 2013, shortly after my car was smelling all dusty. I thought, wow I need to change my cabin air filter. I went to install the new one, and discovered mine was gone! Peculiar, my car had only been serviced by Toyota of Orange over the past year. Again I dismissed it. My car was a little past due for it's next oil change, I was going on a vacation and took the day off of work to run errands before leaving. Not having time to waste, I went online Monday 4/8 and set up a service appt for 8:30 Friday 4/12. Monday night I received a return email that the Toyota of Orange recipient was not valid. Hmm...So I called Tuesday morning 4/9 and again made an appt for 8:30 Friday. I arrived at my appt today at 8:15, got in quickly, I told my service guy, Brandon that I'd be waiting, thinking it would be 30 min - 1 hour. Afterall, I did make an appt! Two hours of waiting I asked the cashier if my car was ready, thinking I must have missed them calling my name, she said she didn't have the paperwork, so they must still be working on it. I went outside and waited, then decided to look over the estimate, Brandon put 10:30 as the estimated finish time! I was shocked, 2 hours for an oil change, with an appt?! At 10:45 I asked Brandon about my car, I needed to be across town at noon. He checked the computer and it said my car was checked to a technician and it should be in one of the first stalls being worked on...I checked, my car was not in their stalls. I did find it still in their waiting parking lot! I told Brandon this so he checked with the technician and came back saying my car was next. I told him I had to leave, 2.5+ hours is too long for an oil change! He stated that they were busy and that he was sorry. I know Friday's are busy, that's why I made an appt! I took the car and went to my appts. On my way back, I thought I'd give them another chance to make things right. I called and Aaron, said they should be able to take care of me. I got to the dealership and spoke with a service manager about my horrible experience. Yes, I expected them to make an opening and service my car right away, afterall it's only a routine oil change and I'd already waited for 2.5 hours! The service manager said it would be an 1-1.5 hours. I told him I didn't have that much time, since they'd wasted my time in the morning. So I left. I then called the dealership, explained my story and asked to speak to someone above the service manager. I was transferred to Jeff (I believe) he sounded like the service manager I'd just spoken with in person. I explained my story to this guy, he took my information, said he was going to walk back to the service department, see what they could do and have someone call me back. An hour and a half later, still no call! I will never use this dealership again for anything, and I'll inform any and everyone I know of this experience. For the above reasons, I'm giving them a poor rating. More

I will never return to this dealer. Their salesmen are untrained and seem to be the lowest level of sales people that I've seen. I am surprised they are business. I have been going to Joe Ehlert for my car purchases for over 15 years and plan on doing so for many years to come. Last year I purchased a used F150 and Joe came through again! I just leased my very first car from Toyota of Orange. Granted I don't have a lot of perspective, but I would say the overall experience was a headache. The customer service was less than what I expected. Luis, my salesman was friendly and not at all pushy, but the details of the deal were not communicated well (by Luis or Alan in finance). Then in follow up while Kayvon did attempt to remedy the situation somewhat, it came with a lot of attitude and game playing. I'm a payment shopper and let them know my goal amount per month and ceiling. Luis was nice, not pushy and let me know my options. I really wanted to buy and talked about buying for a long time. He tried to make the numbers work but they were a little high, so we ended up switching to lease in order to lower the payment. But it was never pointed out that the lease amount was pre-tax! Therefore when I went online to schedule my first payment it was about $30 higher than what we agreed upon, the same amount I have had to pay for a buy! I had to fight to get the contract returned and in the end the monthly payment wasn't lowered. They said they'd cut me a check for the markup they put on the alarm which works out to about a $9/mo reduction in payment. I was so exhausted from the whole experience I accepted it, and do appreciate the gesture (that is if it arrives in the mail, stand by for an update!) But the truth is I will still end up paying $22/month more than what is comfortable and will have a regular reminder of why I won't be going back to Toyota of Orange. More

I am furious with Toyota of Orange. They dripped something in my car during a 10k maintenance and would not take responsibility for it. Whatever it was it eroded my gear shift panel from the time I something in my car during a 10k maintenance and would not take responsibility for it. Whatever it was it eroded my gear shift panel from the time I dropped it off to the time I picked it up. I even took pictures of the sticky stuff and it clearly shows how they tried to wipe it off and didn't do a great job. In the cracks there was a blue liquid and after an hour it was dry and looks horrible. When asked to take responsibility for the problem they said no, we will not and sent me away. RIDICULOUS! If it was something I did, how could I have drove my car with wet sticky stuff on the panel, left it for service and came back an hour later to pick it up and no one in that time noticed it. This is my 5th Toyota and I will never go back to this dealership again unless they fix this obvious error on their part! More

I made a service appointment for my truck at 9am and got there 10 mintes early. They did not start working on my car unti 2 and half hours later. I was told that my car will be ready by noon but it was not released to me until almost 3pm. And guess what? The engine light was still on and was not reset it because no one knows how to do it. Them in took another half hour to get that done correctly. I drove my truck home and I noticed that did not put the back door panel back...so I was driving with no brake lights or signal lights. I was extremely mad that this dealership had my life and my kids life at risk. We live about 32 miles one way. Then I had to go back again late in the evening to get it fixed and I was still not satisfied. That employee should have been fired and manager should have been written up for termination as well. To make it short.....please do not take your car to Toyota of Orange.....Your life will be at risk and your vehicle will be tortured and broken instead of getting fixed.......this dealership should closed as no one has even called me although I left numerous messages for the big boss to call me. The sales staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the service department is second to none. I went in with an open mind and made adult decisions. I would, and have, recommended this dealership to family, friends and customer and have only the highest regards for them. When you think about the number of cars they move it is amazing that they run across so few "nut jobs". More
