Making the best out of a unfortunate situation.I was Making the best out of a unfortunate situation. I was planning to buyout my leased 2018 RAV4 XLE this morning. However while in route to the dealersh Making the best out of a unfortunate situation. I was planning to buyout my leased 2018 RAV4 XLE this morning. However while in route to the dealership another vehicle hit construction debris on the road that launched toward my vehicle on the passenger side. My mother was in the passenger seat and thankfully I wasn’t going faster or the debris would have gone through the windshield and hit her. The front of my car took some significant damage on the passenger side knocking out my sensor, a fluid lines, a huge crack, and the majority of the car out of socket/detached. Arriving at the dealership we explain what happened to Jose and Parthik. This situation had completely thrown a wrench in my plans to but my car because now I had to take into account how much it would cost to fix all the damages on top of that. Both gentlemen were extremely kind and empathetic to what has just happened to me and my mother. We were there for 4 hours and they presented me with all available options and truly went to bat for me to get me the best deal possible. Even the financial department was able to get me an extra 1% off my APR. In all honesty I do not like negotiating with car salesman, but this experience today had changed my view. Toyota will always take care of their customers. Thank you so much to Jose and Prakeet for helping me today while I wasn’t able to leave with my original car helping me get into a gently used 2018 RAV4 Limited was the best that could happen out of the unfortunate turn of events.
