Very long experience that seemed to have no end… Bought a 2019 Rav 4 XLE Premium from Nick N. and Jared, who were extremely helpful. Nick and Jared deserve 4.5 stars–his support staff... maybe 1 star. This process was extremely long because tracking down a vehicle from another dealership. I was told I would be contacted the next morning of the status of getting the car and if I could come in at 4pm or even earlier. I received a call at 4pm asking where I was because the car was ready... but I never received a call in the morning to confirm whether the appointment was set. I took off the morning from work to deal make sure that I could come in ASAP to pick up the car. I finally received the car at 8pm that day because I had previous commitments. I was promised the paperwork would be ready and done because we were returning one car and getting the final version we liked. We get there and sit for 45min ish only to be told that the papers are not ready. 1 more hour passes.... we are told the machines are broken and the final papers cannot be printed, so we get a temp. contract and leave. Upon leaving, maybe 5 min from the dealership. I notice the gas tank is 75% empty... who sells a car with no gas?? So, I have to fill my own gas and was told I would get reimbursed... that has yet to happen... I come back the next evening after work, hoping to sign and leave but wait another 1.5 hours before signing the final papers. Do these people think I have all the time in the world?!? After signing, and deal done. We drive away and realize we were not given the temp. license plate.... so, we make an appointment to come back again... At that point I just cannot deal with coming back that night. Next day, come back from the temp. license plate, license plate covers (which they didn't give initially), and hoping to make the apt. to get door guards on the car which all Toyota's I have purchase have complimentary. I am not able to make the appointment and was told I will receive a call the next day. Next day comes, I do not receive a call by afternoon, so I call and make an appointment for myself the next day. This is now Saturday... 5 days after the initial signing day of the car. I come back and get my door guards installed and get a complimentary loaner for the day... which was dirty inside and out. That was the only loaner and I had to leave, so I took it.. noting to the person that took care of me that it was filthy. In the end, I got my car which I am extremely thankful for having Nick and Jared bend over backwards to help me out... however; does this place think that I have all the free time in the world and love coming back to a dealership 20 miles out of my way from home or work?? Calling the dealership is a mess because I ask for one person and leave a message and will be told I will have my call answered; however, no one does so I directly contact either Nick and Jared, feeling hesitant because these men are busy too, only to have them help me. Does no one else in the dealership communicate or follow through as a team? I would only recommend this place to get a car if you feel like you have ALL the time in the world and have nothing else going on for you and you take initiative for every service/action you need. To reiterate, Nick and Jared.. I give you 4.5 stars for the help... anyone else that helped me maybe 1 star. More
We’d done some research on the Highlander, thinking at first a used vehicle made sense. But a Black Friday ad for a new 2019 caught our eye. Late afternoon visit and test drive convinced us. 2019 RAV 4 Hybrid I had a great experience with this dealership. I had some initial concerns and questions after the purchase and they were addressed very quickly. Sal I had a great experience with this dealership. I had some initial concerns and questions after the purchase and they were addressed very quickly. Sales team (Ken Scott & Jerod) were great. Liz, who completed all the paperwork is very thorough and helpful. She did not rush through the process. I would shop here again. The only disappointment I have is how do I actually get the gas mileage that is on the sticker (41mpg city and 38 hwy)? Most of my driving is in the city and even if I drive like a grandma, the best mileage I get is 37 mpg. If I drive how I normally do, which is good and smooth, I only get 35 mpg in the city. I'm using the hybrid monitoring system which tells you whether your starts, cruise and stops are good. Can anyone help me with improving my mpg which is why I bought this car.? Thank you!! Pam More

DON'T TRUST TOYOTA OF PORTLAND! - Did Not Honor Sale Last week, arranged to purchase a Prius V at TOYOTA OF PORTLAND; a +3-hours drive away from us. There are two prices listed depending on the website s Last week, arranged to purchase a Prius V at TOYOTA OF PORTLAND; a +3-hours drive away from us. There are two prices listed depending on the website searched; one is $2,00 higher than the other. Spoke with Used Sales Manager & a Sales person - confirmed they would honor the lower price because I had a screen shot. Confirmed the car was still available the am we were to drive down. Sales person said she'd "pulled" the car and had it "set aside" for us. Confirmed it was still available just before leaving to drive down. Even provided a firm reference vouching were were serious customers. WHY would we drive 3 hours to not buy? Got a call 30 minutes later that they'd SOLD THE CAR OUT FROM UNDER US. Josh Kampmann, GM, then called to "apologize" for the "misunderstanding". Have re-checked CarGurus, AutoTrader, TruCar, CarFax and THEIR OWN WEBSITE all week, and again just now, ALL STILL LIST THE CAR FOR SALE! THIS IS FEELS LIKE FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION. AVOID TOYOTA OF PORTLAND!!!!! (We went to Toyota of Lake City (WA) instead and had an AWESOME experience!) More

Daniel took u Went to see Minh but he was busy so Daniel filled in. We went in looking for a used vehicle, but they aren't part of the Costco program. Daniel took us to see different vehicles and we found a Silver Rav 4 with a lift gate to fit my height (electronically). Elizabeth was very efficient and professional. The interest rate and terms were different and we didn't catch it until we signed almost all of the paperwork. There was confusion on the zip code offers, but not on the price. We feel the floor manager should have come to us with the discrepancies. Because of the work and professionalism that Daniel and Elizabeth did, we still did the deal. Daniel stayed until after closing to make sure I learned the most important features, sync my phone and maps, and got everything out of my old Corolla into my new 2019 Rav4 and our full tank of gas! Sorry Daniel I lost your card with your last name and you and Elizabeth are not on the list. Daniel kept offering beverages and dinner because of the length of time to make the corrections before it came back to us, but we refused. We stopped at Burger King on the way home. This is the most expensive anniversary present we've ever purchased and it's more almost thirty times what our wedding cost 38 years ago. More
No accountability as result of errors Was mislead regarding expectations on accessing my personal credit scores, even though I came in with a pre-approval from my personal credit union. Ad Was mislead regarding expectations on accessing my personal credit scores, even though I came in with a pre-approval from my personal credit union. Additionally, was advised I only needed one plate in Oregon, but later found out in Oregon, you actually need two. Lastly, I was told I had a limited 3 month warranty on the car I purchased, but when I took it in to get serviced, was told the warranty did not apply to the car I purchased. I have still not heard back regarding any of my follow up to these issues 3 weeks later. More
Exuberant and unreasonable charges on a simple service job Visiting from the east coast with a Prius 2010. Had to replace the inner fender liner on the front left side. Same work was performed on the right f Visiting from the east coast with a Prius 2010. Had to replace the inner fender liner on the front left side. Same work was performed on the right front inner fender in Kansas 2 months ago at a total cost (before taxes) of $140 (part and labor). Toyota of Portland did the same work on the left front and charged $253. How can it be that same service (part and labor) costs $113 more (80% more) at Toyota of Portland???. This info will be sent to TOYOTA USA headquarters. Would not come back to this service shop!!! More
