Overall a very unprofessional experience here. To begin with, I made two appointments on different days and both times was kept waiting 30+ minutes after my supposed “appointment” time. Beyond To begin with, I made two appointments on different days and both times was kept waiting 30+ minutes after my supposed “appointment” time. Beyond that, the overall buying experience was disappointing. I was looking to buy a specific pre-owned vehicle which I came in to see/test drive on a Friday. The vehicle was dirty and had broken interior components, despite being on their lot for over a month. The vehicle/powertrain was overall in good shape despite the cosmetic issues, so I made a reasonable, but below listing, offer. I was told basically “no way” and so I left. I received 3 phone calls from Toyota of Richardson over the weekend, telling me each time that they want to do a deal. I eventually came in the following Monday to see if a deal could get done. They pulled out a “pricing sheet” that showed list price plus >$3k in a “dealership addendum” to cover their costs in getting the vehicle ready to sell (except the car was dirty and had a broken center console, so what exactly did this cover?), along with some other fees and TTL. The out the door price was $11k over what I had offered on Friday. After an hour of waiting around and going back and forth they eventually settled on an out the door price that was $8k over what I had stated previously as my walk away price (this was after they conveniently wiped out the “dealership addendum” fee). Why even waste my or their time for me to come in and tell me we’re $8k apart? A pricing delta that large could have been handled over the phone in 10 minutes rather than spending an hour+ at the dealership. They even told me they were “already underwater” and “trying to recoup some of their losses”, as though that is my problem and I should pay the price for their poor business decisions. Just ridiculously unprofessional overall and I would never buy a car from these guys regardless of the price point. Dealers are clearly still holding onto the glory days of 2020/2021 where they could stick buyers with thousands in undisclosed fees and still close deals. Can’t wait for this car to hit the auto auctions in a week and see how much of a loss they end up having to eat. Best of of luck Toyota of Richardson, I will be taking my business elsewhere and I suggest others do the same. More
***BUY YOUR NEXT TOYOTA FROM SHERVIN! !!*** Shervin was phenomenal. I purchased a 2023 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 this past December. Shervin went above and beyond your typical salesperson. Contact !!*** Shervin was phenomenal. I purchased a 2023 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 this past December. Shervin went above and beyond your typical salesperson. Contacted Shervin regarding the truck I was interested in and made arrangements to come into the dealership. He was never "pushy" and was readily available for any questions or concerns I had. The day I planned to come in was bitter cold--Shervin arranged to have the truck brought into the showroom so I could look it over!! He was very professional and negotiated a fair price for the new truck and my trade-in without all the "back and forth" negotiations. I cannot say enough about how this gentleman made such a positive and pleasant buying experience for me. Save yourself some time and hassle--go see Shervin Razmgir for your next Toyota!! More
I drove to this dealer after they advertised a vehicle for one price on Autotrader and then found out at the dealership they wanted to add on several thousand dollars for a "loyalty" package that is manda for one price on Autotrader and then found out at the dealership they wanted to add on several thousand dollars for a "loyalty" package that is mandatory. They said it was to reimburse them for work they put into the vehicle. I heard several other potential buyers at the dealership say the same thing regarding their advertised price versus the price in the actual dealership, a classic bait and switch tactic of sleazy dealers. The vehicle also had a warranty sticker on the window but when I mentioned that they said that it wasn't correct (I have a photo of it). Once I negotiated my vehicle and got it home (via trailer) the second time I drove it the transmission went out. I called the dealership immediately and no one returned my call until the following Monday. I asked to return the car due to bad faith since their website says "All used cars on our lot have been inspected to ensure that you are getting the best car for your investment." They would not allow me to return it and have offered no other remedy other than I could trade it back in to them (at a loss) for another vehicle. I've emailed and called multiple people (including the general manger) over twenty times with no solution. More
Jacob Campbell was the salesman I used. Apparently he's the top salesman, but as most of the things he said were lies, I'm not sure if that is true. After adding $4,000 in bogus cost to the used vehicle price listed, the finance guy, Sam, then slipped in an extended warranty through MMP on the vehicle, even though I said not to as the car only has 25,000 miles on it and is under full warranty. Their practices are quite misleading and deceptive. Jacob only provided me with one key fob after saying he would make sure I received both keys, and neither he nor his manager, Juan Fernandez, will respond to my calls or e-mails. I have bought many cars in my life, and this is perhaps the most unethical dealership I have ever been to with the worst customer service. I highly recommend going somewhere else. More
Please save yourself from the headache with this dealership. They are manipulative and hide fees. They put the wrong mats in my vehicle. While I was driving the mat got tangled and between the brake dealership. They are manipulative and hide fees. They put the wrong mats in my vehicle. While I was driving the mat got tangled and between the brake and the accelerator. I had to stop immediately and remove the mat. Maria, the sales manager, asked me to reach out to her. I did, I was hoping we would have some corrective actions but haven’t heard from anyone. Please don’t be fooled by their reviews. You’re “forced” to leave a review before you can get your “deal”, they’ll ask you for another one by the finance department, and then again when you get your picture. This is probably the only Toyota dealership around that hasn’t been updated. I’m not sure what climate controlled show rooms they are talking about. They ask for people to leave multiple reviews so it keeps them on top when people search for cars. I’ve dealt with other dealerships like Cowboy Toyota, Toyota of Rockwall, and Toyota of Plano who provided superior service and wasn’t forced into leaving a review. I did a review because they deserved recognition. Don’t trust all of their reviews and save yourself from hidden fees and a headache. More
Likely one of the worst dealership experiences I have ever had, and I have purchased quite a few cars over the years. After searching with my son for a particular vehicle through TrueCar within 500 miles ever had, and I have purchased quite a few cars over the years. After searching with my son for a particular vehicle through TrueCar within 500 miles from his location, we discovered one at Toyota of Richardson that was exactly what he was looking for. We received the TrueCar price, exchanged emails and set up a 3-way call with Mr. Terrance Horton(salesman). Shared the TrueCar price we received, discussed financing as my son was pre-approved already however we did leave it open to financing through Toyota if they could present a better overall deal. Mr. Horton, stated that he wanted to work for us (what they all say) and would take that to his manager and let us know. 3 hours later and there was still no word back so we contacted him. Mr. Horton responded 2 hours later, that they would not honor the TrueCar certificate price issued to us. Instead his price was over $2,000 higher than the certificate price. We went back and forth via email several times before realizing that they were not going change their minds. Keep in mind that this car had been on their lot for well over 30 days. During that first day, I had received, what I thought was a genuine email from Brad Clark, the GM. Introducing himself and to let him know how he can help to earn our business. After the terrible service, I sent Mr. Clark an email outlining everything hoping that he would honor what was given to us. I waited a day for a response and received none, so I called and left a message for him. To this day, still no return email or call from him. Not even sure the man exists but I did deduce the email is just your typical smoke sent out. My son really wanted this particular vehicle so he decided to make another attempt and get someone else other than Terrance 2 days later. Unfortunately that didn't happen as he was routed to Terrance again. However this time, Terrance offered us a lower price for the car but still would not honor the TrueCar price. We discussed it via email and asked for a final out the door price before my son drove 3 hours to get it. Received the numbers and my son committed to driving there that night. Just when we felt that we would be satisfied with the purchase, Terrance threw in at the end, after my son had already been there at the dealer, that the only way to get the deal was to finance through Toyota at an APR of 2% higher than my son had already been approved for through another lender. Terrance states that he told us that over a call however that is entirely false as we would never agree to that without running the numbers to ensure it was a better deal. At this point, he knew that my son drove 3 hours for the car he really wanted and the chance of him leaving without it were very slim. Needless to say, I shared my dissatisfaction of the shady sales practice with Terrance over the phone. We have since reported this to TrueCar because dealers go through an extensive process to become TrueCar certified and this was the first I have ever had a certificate price not honored. Dealers that fail to uphold that, shouldn't be in the program. In my experience, their failure to have a moral compass, lack of communication/concern at the senior management level & unethical sales practices are why I would never recommend this dealer to anyone. By the way, one day after getting the vehicle, the sunroof wouldn't close requiring a trip to a local dealer and 2 days after that, the battery failed requiring another $200 to spent on a new one. Customer Service Manager replied to my Google Review wanting to talk further. I emailed her to set that time up, she never responded yet she can reply to comments on Google. Very shady things happening there. If I could give negative stars, this dealer would get them. Stay away!!! More

Worse GM and customer service I have ever dealt with. Damaged my new car, GR86 while in their possession and refused to repair it. Salesman noticed the damaged but did not show me. Still in dispute! Replaced my seats with leather seats and worse upholstery job ever. Seats would not lock, back seat will not stay up and left holes in leather etc... still not repaired properly and I finally gave up and filed in small claims court. Horrible Management and customer service. I changed to Toyota of Irving and they are amazing! More

The sales person did not even introduce himself, never asked my name, and couldn’t have tried to get my out of there faster. He lied about the year of the vehicle I was interested in, and gave me a price quote 10k over the price listed on the website. I counted seven lies in our 15 minute interaction. I am almost 40 with prime credit and was treated like absolute garbage. I will tell everyone I know what an absolute disgusting experience I had at this dealership. More
