Best experience I’ve ever had with the dealership Working with Tom Funderburk was a great experience. He explained everything to me about my RAV4, help me get Bluetooth and an Entune download . He took the time to help me with voice recognition as well. He was patient and was always on time. He introduced me to the service department which no other dealership has ever done for me and he had my car washed and ready when I came to pick It up. I would highly recommend him as a sales person because he was professional nice to work with and confident and his salesmanship. The rock Hill Toyota dealership was clean and everyone was very nice. Very poor service department experience I got a promotional discount in the mail from this dealership for a oil change (up to six quarts) including a Toyota oil filter for $9.95. That's all I got a promotional discount in the mail from this dealership for a oil change (up to six quarts) including a Toyota oil filter for $9.95. That's all I had done was an oil and filter change. It took about an hour and 45 minutes and when I was ready to pay the bill, the total was $14.78. Their "excuse" was the state charges a fee for hazardous material waste disposal. I usually do my own oil changes at home and can take my used oil to any number of free waste drop off points, including Walmart. They charged $1 per quart to get rid of used motor oil. About 15 years ago, I could buy good quality multi-viscosity motor oil for less than $1 per quart. I will NEVER patronize Toyota of Rock Hill again. More

Culture of dishonesty I recently made an inquiry about a 4runner they were advertising on their website via email. I received a response that indeed they had the vehicle in I recently made an inquiry about a 4runner they were advertising on their website via email. I received a response that indeed they had the vehicle in stock. Before going I visited another Toyota dealership in Concord, NC that was much closer and had a similar vehicle. While negotiating the price at the Concord location I mentioned Toyota of Rock Hill had the same vehicle for $4K less. A sales manager checked and told me not to waste my time driving to Rock Hill, they didn't have the vehicle they were advertising in stock. I assumed this was a sales ploy to get my business. The next morning I called to confirm they had the vehicle, I spoke to another sales rep from the email in case the first had made a mistake. I was assured they had the vehicle in stock and on the lot. When I arrived an hour later and waited for 30 minutes while they "found the keys", I was told it was already sold but they had many others to show me. How could another dealership know they didn't have it but 2 different employees had no idea. This is a classic case of bait and switch, do and say anything to get them on the lot. It proves it's not 1 employee making a mistake but a culture of dishonesty. More

I recently got a service coupon (limited for two days only), and called to make an appointment for one of the two days. Was told there are no appointments left, but I can drop the vehicle off. I went to the dealership on the appropriate day to drop the vehicle off, and was told that they are booked and not doin drop offs. The earliest they could get me in just happened to be the day AFTER the coupon expired. The service advisor didn't offer any alternative, and expressed no remorse for me wasting my time due to their error. I'll be looking into independent service facilities from this point forward. More
