I am truly surprised by the great reviews given to Toyota of Rock Hill. Let me start by stating that we worked with Maurice and he is a fine gentleman; however, we test drove a 2024 4Runner TRD Pro on a day of Rock Hill. Let me start by stating that we worked with Maurice and he is a fine gentleman; however, we test drove a 2024 4Runner TRD Pro on a day when he was working with someone else and the person they had us go out with kept badgering us to put down $500 to hold the vehicle. When we finished the test drive, we informed her that we had to get to an appointment but please send us an email with your best deal on the vehicle. She stated, well, that's MSRP, that's the best we can do. No can do for us, we walked but Maurice saw us and asked us how we did. We explained all to him and he said, "Call me Monday and I'll work out a deal with you. Well it took about a week before we could connect and he gave us a quote that was $9K over MSRP due to a market adjustment. Not a chance. I refuse to pay a market adjustment because a dealer is greedy. I believe in free market and I'm sure someone will be willing to pay that, but that someone isn't me. That kind of market adjustment screams greed. This dealership has lost all chance of my ever returning for a purchase or even for service. If they want to charge a market adjustment, fine, but be upfront about it so those of us who are unwilling to pay that can just walk on by. More

Brought car in for oil change and asked for an inspection on a knocking noise in front passenger side. Timothy Fox advisor 4077, said I would have to purchase 2 Front tires in order for noise to be found. Ti on a knocking noise in front passenger side. I told him it was not the tires making the noise, just proceed with the oil change. Seeing my frustration, Timothy said he would talk to the Tech to look into noise. After completion, they said nothing was found. Tim turned over paperwork to another advisor saying Noise was not found. I asked the other service guy to take a ride with me to hear the noise. He heard the noise multiple times and stated it could be a CV joint. Inspection indicated Axle hub and bearing Passed, Steering linkage Passed, Suspension Passed!!! And the video that showed walking around the car was useless!! Timothy came back out now that there was a Noise Found, and wanted to charge us $220 for them to LOOK and provide a diagnostic to pin point the part. Terribly Disappointed with this service after 12 years of continuous service and purchases of Rav 4 , Camry, and Corolla in our Household. We left and brought the car to NTB and in 30 minutes and NO Charge to look, they found Front Struts and Sway Bar links needed replacement, Front brake Pads needed replacement and found passenger side pad LOOSE!! Not even a sale pitch for buying 2 new front tires! Your store has lost our business, please give my regards to Felix, he was our long time Salesperson we will miss. More
