The quality of the work was excellent and I appreciate a clean car after they finish with it but it took almost 2 hours for basic 10,000 mile service. Had my engine oil change and the truck had oil spilled all over the crossmember and transmission. I had to take a rag and clean up the mess. I expected better service from a certified Toyota dealership. all over the crossmember and transmission. I had to take a rag and clean up the mess. Sales were very pushy. We bought one car here a couple years ago but it was pretty pushy. For a car for my teenager a few months ago we ended up purchasing at another dealer after being pushed too hard here to lease a new car when they didn’t have a used car we were into. For the first car I bought, 2020 Avalon, the tires that came with the car are already bald and it just reached 30,000 miles. The tires are “top rated” and show they come with 55,000 mile warranty-but according to the dealer service rep it doesn’t apply when you first buy the car. When I asked the service rep to explain why they are recommending the same set of tires ($1,400) that didn’t even last 30,000 he wanted to refer me to the last person who helped me with just a routine service appointment check in and out…who happened to not be there that day. It felt like the run around, I asked him why the other person would give me any different information than what he is giving me. He remained professional but at the end of the conversation I had the feeling that I wasn’t getting any resolve. Just come up with $1,400 to replace the tires at half the life they should have, then hope they last. My trust level has really dropped with this place. I keep getting emails to submit feedback so here is the feedback. More
I've been happy with this dealership in past visits, but there were some problems this time. I brought my vehicle in for a state inspection and also an oil change while a reduced price was being offered an there were some problems this time. I brought my vehicle in for a state inspection and also an oil change while a reduced price was being offered and mentioned the offer to the service rep, but then I was charged full price at check-out, although I didn't notice it until after I had paid. I brought it up with the service rep, who argued that the reduced-price offer was the amount on the invoice, which I had to prove to her was not true. She ultimately applied a credit to my account. While the vehicle was being inspected, I was told that the rear brake pads needed to be replaced. I told the rep that since this was the first rear pad replacement, it would be covered under my extended warranty, but my rep told me that the pads were not worn down enough to qualify for replacement under warranty. So why was I told they needed to be replaced? More
