Exasperating. Came in for oil change. Told shocks needed replaced for $600. Said ok to do this work. Then they said they didn’t have the shocks. Came back, then they said they needed to do more work to as other shock- related parts were rusty and worn. This would be an additional 800. Said ok to do this work. Then they said they don’t have the parts- they would order and would need to keep my car. I said ok as long as I have a rent car (which was handled). Was told rent car was car was just leaving and would be at my house in 20 min. At 45 min I called to find out the status - found out he was just leaving from a customer in Fate. While they were supposed work on car next day, they didn’t even get parts til late in the day and kept car another day. Then they called to tell me I had been given the wrong price on parts and it wound be more expensive. The service rep did add some discount to the bill for the misquote. Overall it was frustrating. I’m sure service rep did what she could. More

The check in process was way backed up. I asked if I needed to reschedule, but they said no . After waiting some more, it appeared a manager had to go in to the service employees and get someone to che needed to reschedule, but they said no . I have been going to Toyota of Rockwall for several years. I was very impressed from the first time I went. The dealership is probably the best I’ve ever been in. I’ve owned Toyotas for many years. When I bought a 2013 Camry they sold it to me like the best for 8K, 2 months after the engine light came on due to rodent damage to the engine harness which they priced $1,500.00 to repair and $2,300.00 t best for 8K, 2 months after the engine light came on due to rodent damage to the engine harness which they priced $1,500.00 to repair and $2,300.00 to replace so they do an inspection that showed over 6K work of repairs needed on the car, including oil pan damage, I tried trading it in and they valued the car at 4K and tried to put me on a 2021 Corolla for over 21K, I have seen better customer service and comprehension from small corner lots than what I experience at Toyota of Rockwall its a shame. by the way a reputable mechanic fixed the damaged to the engine harness for $110.00 More
