There was no push into making a hasty decision. There was no "This offer is only good if you sign right now" as I found at other dealers. When I did finally agree on the car and model, they made every effort to find the vehicle I wanted. It arrived at the dealership as promised and was ready when I arrived to complete the purchase. Taryn explained all features completely before I took possession of the vehicle. Chris Kaczor handled all the necessary paperwork with efficiency and took the time to explain everything in detail. He helped customize a plan that suited my needs. This is my second purchase through this dealership and, although I have visited other dealerships, I find Scranton Toyota has proven to be the best at keeping to their promises. I insured the vehicle, got a bank check for the full amount and drove 55 miles one way to pick up the vehicle. When I arrived I was told the vehicle was sold on Wed. and was gone. The salesman apologized and I was left sitting by myself with my deposit check on the desk. A sales manager came over with a who cares attitude, then was gone. Nothing was offered to compensate me for the 110 miles I traveled or the inconvenience I incurred. More

I was looking for a new car and had limited time to do so. After checking the website I was contacted via e-mail by Amanda Tucker and corresponded numerous times with her for info, schedules, etc. She was so. When I stopped in the sales associate I worked with was Billy Mulligan. He was an incredible help. He was the nicest sales associate I have ever dealt with purchasing a vehicle. Car salesmen have a "reputation" whether jokingly or not and he is the exception. I'm a single Mom putting a child through college alone after her dad passed away. I had a bottom line, needed the best. most reliable car I could get for my budget. Billy spent hours with me, literally, on 2 separate occasions going over all options from buying to leasing, prices, special offers, getting it financed. I felt like he was the most honest sales person I had ever dealt with. We took cars for a ride, he walked the entire parking lot with me on a 90 degree day showing me cars. He worked to get me the best trade in he could on my car. After making my decision a gentlemen named Kenny (do not have last name) did all the financial work. He was also extremely helpful, explained everything page by page, was very nice. Billy ran around the showroom seeing to the service department getting the car ready, then sat in the car with me and explained EVERYTHING, programming the radio, the bluetooth, the entire functionality of the car. I honestly could not have been more pleased. I took the last 2 business cards Billy had out to put on the bulletin board at work and will give him as much business as I can. He is the 'exception' to the sales person rule, I am thrilled he was the person that said "Hi, what can I do to help you today" when I walked into the showroom. Toyota can be proud of this young man, he is an asset to their work force. Kudos to Billy Mulligan of Toyota of Scranton. More
