Our interaction with Mustafa was unexpectedly great. There were "bumps in the road" during our visits at the dealership. None were any fault of his. During the long waiting times we were entertained by his genuine interest in hearing about our lives and sharing stuff about his. On a scale of 10 (highest score) we give Mustafa a "10". That said, there were some deficiencies regarding the overall buying experience. First, the vehicle was advertised online as "TOS Certified" and ready to go. In reality, the truck was still being inspected and repaired. It was on a lift for several days while we waited to give it a test drive. This led to a very stressfull conversation regarding our ability to place a deposit to hold the vehicle until we'd be able to test drive it. Mustafa was able to arrange a $500 deposit. There were something like 70 other people interested in the truck, so his attempts to bend the rules allowed us the ability to secure the first chance at purchasing the truck. Raphael was also very efficient. Not as much fun as Mustafa, but still very professional and helpful. Complaints would be: Delays beyond our control necessitated us needing to rent a car. Toyota of Smithfield was unwilling to cover the cost...about $120. Truck was advertised as completely cleaned and detailed. In fact, the rear seat area was covered with cat hair that took over an hour to remove, and the tonnueau cover was moldy. Main point here is that Mustafa Akhtar is an exceptionable sales person who did his best to meet our expectations.
