- Melanie

Paid $138 for an oil change and tire rotation. Was charged 42.50 to check the check engine light which has been on off and on since I bought it. Never again. I pay $40 per month for a warranty that is useless. Service worker said oh well!

"service of existing car and purchase of a second one"

- donna1121

I have been looking for a RAV4 for some time I did not want a new one since I have a corolla that I love. I just wanted something that would be a pleasure vehicle which was also four wheel drive for snow. We took the corolla in for service and while waiting were looking around the lot and found one I really liked. The young Gentleman who showed the car to us was wonderful. He totally explained everything to us and we went for a drive, never once was he pushy to sell the car to us. He let us completely make our mind up to buy it, then he worked on getting us the best deal we could. We are completely satisfied with our purchase and Mr. Isaac Hall was a wonderful salesman to work with.

"Never again! "

- Tiff0633

Brought in my Sienna for a recall concerning the 3rd row seat backs. They cut my 3rd row seat belt in half! No one uses those seats, and it was in perfect condition before I took it into Toyota! Of course when I took it back in, they never touched it, they aren't responsible and they are sure it got caught on a sharp object down inside of the panel! Umm no it didn't! I've contacted coperate and will be contacting the BBB as well as a lawyer. I feel like my vehicle was vandalized!

"Easy to buy, terrible with service"

- shannon

I bought my wife a brand new 2015 Toyota Camry SE for her birthday. Everything was great, until after a few months we started smelling a mildew/musky smell especially when the AC was on. On a hot day, when you first got into the car, it would smell as well. So when we had it serviced, since my wife was a dog groomer, they told us they would look at it but they were confident it was dog urine. I informed them we do not transport dogs in the car, and that in fact we had only ever had our dog in it twice, both times he was on a blanket, and right beside us in the car for about a 5 to 10 minute ride both times. There was no way he could have peed in the car without us knowing. They assured us it was urine causing the smell, until I assured them in no way had anyone, or anything peed in the car. Then it went from 4 or 5 of them which had smelt it, and assured us it was urine, to well one time we had a car brought back for a bad odor, and we found a baby bottle under the seat. We have a 5 and 12 year old, and as per Mama, no one eats or drinks in the car. When I brought up the numerous complaints from others about the musky/moldy odor complaints in the 2012 Toyota Camry's, he acknowledged the complaints, but assured me this was not the same smell. All this buyer/owner can say is that smell is not from us, or anything we did, unfortunately the dealership has told us to suck it up, they plan on doing nothing about it. Thanks Toyota of Somerset!

So to give closure to this issue, here goes. Later that evening after writing that review, a friend of ours checked out the car and found that it was indeed wet under the carpet under the passenger seat. By placing a hand between the carpet which was split to go over the seat brackets our friend found it to be soaked. The carpet on top was not, only under the carpet was wet. My wife took the car back to Toyota that evening and after getting them to look at what she had found, admitted there was a problem. They got us a rental the next day, and fixed the car. The problem ended up being a plugged line from the ac evaporator tray. When the line was put in the car, the tray did not get punched all the way through like it should have and only a very small amount was going out the drain. The rest was splashing over and down in under our carpet in the car. They removed all the old carpeting and put in brand new carpet for us. I am happy they fixed it, it is just unfortunate everything had to happen the way it did prior to us finding the problem.

"Toyota Tacoma Oil Change"

- jjbull

I called Phillip on Monday afternoon and asked if he could get me in for a oil change on Tuesday. He said it should not be a problem and asked what time I would like to come in? I asked for an appointment around 10 am and he said that was available. He confirmed my appointment time and staid he would see me Tuesday. I arrived on Tuesday and pulled into the drop area and Phillip meet me at my vehicle. He greeted me and asked how I was doing? He took all the info from the vehicle and we went inside to complete the paper work. Phillip told me that I could go inside the show room and he would come and get me as soon as it was completed. It.took about 30 min and Phillip came to me and told me the oil change and tire rotation was completed and that there were no issues with me vehicle. This was a very good experience and Phillip was very polite and professorial in the way he treated me. I would recommend this service department to everyone.

"Stacy is wonderful! He listened to what we wanted,..."

- wmsomers

Stacy is wonderful! He listened to what we wanted, recommended the right car and did not push us to buy something we did not want. He bought our first car from him and needless to say we came back to the right person for our second car! We met someone over the weekend who asked us about our new car and how we like it. Told them we loved it - used the Sienna's before on vacation and that our Mom had one and loved it. They had been looking at one and recommended Stacy as the person for them to see. He would put them in the Sienna they wanted!! He would not over sell them into something they did not need. He is the person to see! Great job!

"I have now had 3 poor experiences with the service..."

- Ms. B

I have now had 3 poor experiences with the service department, 4 if I count the time they left my oil cap off when they changed my auto's oil. The other 2 poor services dealt with the engine light being on for which I paid $80.00 to have repaired and it is still on. Most recent I brought my auto in for service last week & I'll have to say the auto was in worse shape when it left than it was when it arrived. I had asked to have the back-up light repaired and an oil change. The serviceman indicated the light was repaired, he said "the bulb was out". The next night I drove my auto and found the gearshift light was out. As it was working the night before I believe the service department did something to cause the light to go out. Tonight, 1/9/12, I asked a friend to see if my backup lights are both working now. The light is still out so the bulb surely was not changed. I can only hope I got the oil change.
