I honestly am not even sure where to begin with this, and the reason for my poor car purchase experience with Toyota of Tampa Bay is very long but what I do want to say is this, my experience at this dealers the reason for my poor car purchase experience with Toyota of Tampa Bay is very long but what I do want to say is this, my experience at this dealership in addition to my previous experience with another toyota dealership has made me understand why people accuse car dealerships and car salesmen/used car salesmen of being scrummy liars, manipulators with no sense of ethics and morals. With little to no shame about lying, misleading or misrepresenting information they give you to get you to sign. Since they know once you sign you are legally locked in, they will say anything, especially if you dont know any better, and have no one with you who knows any better to get you to sign. The sales manager I had the unfortunate displeasure of working with is one of those salesmen willing to misrepresent, and straight up lie and appeal to his expertise to get you to blindly believe what he is telling just so you can sign. Once you sign and discover some if not all of the things you were told , were either completely false or half truths, and even if those lies and half truths were the sole reason why you believed you could sign that contract, he will easily without any shame or morals tell you, well you sign the contract, the deal is done, I can't break it even If he knows he mislead and lied to you, used your lack of knowledge and understanding about financing, and car selling to get you to sign. He will look you straight in the eye and let you know, best I can do is screw you over a little less than I originally planned to. Anyway, hope the financial reward you get from doing business this way is well worth it. More
