Following random assignments of several service advisors, I met Derrick Howard, my new best friend (at least my older Tacoma's new best friend). I wish I would have read the reviews on Yelp prior to wasting my time going to the Toyota of Tampa Bay since Yelp’s reviews were more accurate to the habitual behavior at this dealership. Went in for a used car and was told roughly about $29,000 out the door with taxes, tags, fees AND warranty. Then 30 minutes later into the paperwork to seal the deal, the number was manipulated to $35,000. They quickly changed the story saying that $29000 was just the price of the car. When I asked for the financial rep, Freddy, for the paperwork with the itemized information that we were using during negotiation, he said, “ I don’t know where that is.” And then Jake, who also works there proceeded to say, “That’s typical here.. it’s probably somewhere in the shredder.” His arrogance and tone came across like whether we liked it or not, deal with it, which was very unprofessional and quite honestly HORRIBLE customer service skills. When you asked an employee a question, it was as if the right hand didn’t know what the left hand was doing. I DO NOT recommend. I’ve had better experiences at other dealerships in the Tampa Bay area, please do your own research if you’re thinking about going there. I know we will not be going back for business. More

They patiently responded to all of my inquiries, offering thorough justifications and beneficial suggestions for further treatment.
