The dealer found me a car with the right number of options that I was interested in buying, in a timely manner and delivered the vehicle within the time frame that they promised. The initial inquiry was done via he web and when I went in I dealt with a single salesman who gave me very good service. More
I know next to nothing about cars, so I was apprehensive about bringing my 2000 Camry into a dealership. I received the car as a gift in January, 2008, when its former owner, a relative, bought a new Corol about bringing my 2000 Camry into a dealership. I received the car as a gift in January, 2008, when its former owner, a relative, bought a new Corolla. As of June, 2009, I had done nothing to the car but drive it and keep the gas in the tank. The service advisor, Ashok Vaswani, made me feel at ease as soon as I began to speak to him. He was friendly and patient with me as he explained what tests needed to be done. He and the other service staff changed the oil, rotated the tires, and did other "routine" maintenance work. It turns out my exhaust pipe was cracked; I thought replacing it would cost me an arm and a leg. But Mr. Vaswani checked and double checked some paperwork and made sure I wasn't charged because it was covered by the warantee (just barely!). People told me squeaking brakes are not an issue with cars, especially with ones as old as mine. But when I told Mr. Aswani my breaks squeak sometimes, he took my concerns seriously and had the rear brakes cleaned and adjusted. I think most people dread bringing their cars into dealerships for repairs almost as much as dislike going to dental appointments. I know I did. But the experience wasn't bad, not bad at all! It didn't take as long as I thought (I thought I'd be there all day), and the cost was much lower than I expected as well. When I drove my Camry back home, it ran as if it were brand new -- and I didn't hear any brake-squeaking! The best part of the day, though, was how the great service. Mr. Aswani wasn't the least bit condescending when he explained things to me; his demeanor was admirably professional. He didn't take advantage of my ignorance of all things automotive. He and the other service staff did a thorough job of checking my car and working to maintain its performance. But they didn't try to talk me into tests that weren't necessary or overcharge me. In fact, they saved me hundreds(?) of dollars by looking into the warantee. I would have paid for the exhaust pipe in a heartbeat if they'd asked me to, and they probably sensed that. But they were honest and proved themselves worthy of my trust. If all the Toyota owners in Boston and its suburbs knew how friendly and helpful the service staff members are and what a great job they do, all the people who drive Toyota cars, trucks, minivans, hybrids, or SUVs would bring them to Toyota of Watertown whenever the vehicles needed maintenance or repairs. (Or, at least, the smart ones would.) Signed: a satisfied little middle-aged female Camry owner More

We went to the dealership looking to test drive a Yaris, expecting to consider acquiring a pre-owned one, although we had been told by Watertown's pre-owned location (we also had great reception there) that expecting to consider acquiring a pre-owned one, although we had been told by Watertown's pre-owned location (we also had great reception there) that 0% financing was in effect for new sales. Haider was respectful of our intentions and took us on a drive with a model similar to what we were looking for. After some discussion, my husband and I decided to consider purchasing a new car. Throughout the process Haider Amin was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating, and exerted no unwanted pressure, ever. He gave us the information we needed, arranged for delivery of the car on time, accommodated our schedule, and generally made the process a pleasant one. The others we dealt with at Watertown Toyota were also polite, knowledgeable, efficient, and accommodating. I will say that it was also made easy by the fact that they were offering 0% financing, which was a significant part of our decision to purchase our first new car. I would highly recommend the Watertown dealership any time, for the professional, efficient, and low-pressure nature of their sales staff. More

I went to Watertown Toyota on Memorial Day weekend...on a whim, my current Toyota Corolla was almost paid off and I loved my current car. So I didn't need to buy a new one. However when we got to this dealership Lou greeted us instantly after parking a car, asked me what exactly I was looking for..I explained and after that he provided me with the best experience and listened to all my needs and wants!!!! Although there were no Corollas on site (because they sold there last on the night before) they were very speedy in finding out when they would be recieving more. I was impressed by every aspect of my visit, and will definately go there again as well as send my friends and family there! Thanks Again Lou and everyone at Watertown Toyota!!!!! By the way I did wind up purchasing a 2009 Red Toyota Corolla! and I love it. More
I was in the market for a new Scion tC and Toyota of Watertown was recommended to me. I did not need a new car, so not getting a car was still an option for me. I visited another Scion dealer in Peabo Watertown was recommended to me. I did not need a new car, so not getting a car was still an option for me. I visited another Scion dealer in Peabody first while visiting some family and felt pressured. I knew Scion had no-haggle pricing, so I told him I wanted to find a salesman who made the process as painless as possible. He then brought his manager out and the two of them tried to hard sell me on buying a car then and there....I left. Later that week I went to Watertown and had the complete opposite experience. James Hawkins was extremely helpful--answering questions, making sure the car fit my needs, etc.--and I did not feel pressured at all. I do feel like I got shortchanged on my trade-in, but taking the hit was better than having to deal with selling the car privately, etc. Other than that, I would definitely and highly recommend Toyota of Watertown. Details can be found at: http://www.scion.com/rstc/ They would not negotiate the price of the car but I wanted navigation and a short shifter so they said they could negotiate the price of the the navigation and short shifter. The asking price total was $22,444 (base price car = $19,970 + navigation = $1,860 + short shifter = $335 + doc fee = $279). I paid $21,814 total plus tax and registration. I suppose I got a decent deal considering they did not want to negotiate at all. I also made him throw in 4 free oil changes (I suppose another ~$50 value for free). I asked for 6 and they wouldn't do it. The guys were like don't tell anyone how much you paid for this is car. I told him I was going to post it on the internet. Note to any new car buyers, make the deal the first time, don't go home and say you have to think about because I did that I and decided to get the short shifter but they he not budge on the price the second day. I bet he would of if I bought it that first day a little more, maybe another $30 or something. More
