Felix greeted us and was with us through the whole buying process, from the test drive to waving to us as we drove away in our new car. He gave us a great deal and explained everything very clearly. Working with Jon at Toyota of Watertown was a pleasure. Having not bought a car in over 10 years, I was dreading it. His friendly, no pressure sales style was effective and made the experience tolerable. Having not bought a car in over 10 years, I was dreading it. His friendly, no pressure sales style was effective and made the experience tolerable. Jon gave us all the information that we asked for, and knew when to give my husband and I some space to make some decisions. Jon went above and beyond by coming in on his day off on the day that I was to pick up my new car. While I imagine it will be a little while before we need another car, I would recommend Jon to any friend or family member looking for a Toyota. The only negative part of my experience at Toyota of Watertown was the Finance “Shtick” that we were forced to sit through after we had agreed to purchase the car. I know that it is part of how they make their money and the finance guy was perfectly pleasant, but after a few hours at the dealer I was ready to head home. I am guessing this is standard at any dealer, as after our experience we heard from others that they had the same issue when buying a car at other locations. Just part of the process, I guess. Generally a good experience at Toyota of Watertown. More

You would expect a certain level of sleaziness from any car dealership but Toyota of Watertown really takes the cake. My husband and I recently bought a certified pre-owned vehicle from Toyota of Watertown car dealership but Toyota of Watertown really takes the cake. My husband and I recently bought a certified pre-owned vehicle from Toyota of Watertown had a number of issues. We had to ask our salesman, Moustafa "Steve" Ragab several times for the car fax report and the final cost. He gave us an itemized list of the cost of the car and then showed the final number as $5,000 more and never provided the carfax report until our second visit, after we complained to Alex, the manager. After we put down a deposit, Steve told the finance guy helping us that we were buying a car that we never even test drove right then and there but told us that we were just getting paperwork started so it would be faster when we did come back to test drive and buy it. Once we finally did get to drive the car, we pointed out a vomit stain on the floor and melted candy and wrappers in one of the cup holders. When we picked up the car, the salesman couldn't even figure out how to use the radio/CD player when he was showing me how the car worked. With the whirlwind of picking up the car, we didn't even notice that the car hadn't been cleaned and that the stain and candy were still there. The car was running when it was given to us so we also didn't notice that one of the keys did not work. I brought it back the following day and everyone was extremely nice and apologetic, except for Alex the manager. He practically yelled at me that the key wasn't broken, it was an electrical issue with the fob (which I had explained to several people already). After an hour and a half, the car was cleaned out and I was told to come back in two days to pick up a new key. When I returned to get the key, I did not have the broken one with me because I had no reason to carry around a broken key. Alex yelled at me that I should have known that since it was the fob and not the key that was broken I needed to bring it with me even though he had previously told me that I was getting a brand new key and never mentioned to bring the broken one with me. This entire situation NEVER should have happened with purchasing a certified pre-owned car because checking the keys is one of the items on the 160 point check list. When I mentioned this to Alex, his response was that it was a spare key that was just hanging around and was not their fault. In any case, they did not need the old broken key and Alex's excuse for not knowing that was that he is not a mechanic and it's not his job to know about that sort of thing. It is completely unacceptable that the manager yells at customers for things that his staff should have taken care of before selling a car. I would not recommend that anyone give business to this establishment and my husband and I will certainly never again. More
I was looking into a new 2013 Toyota Camry Hybrid and decided to check out Toyota of Watertown. I was approached by a salesman named Lou Mondello who was very friendly. I felt like he was genuinely inter decided to check out Toyota of Watertown. I was approached by a salesman named Lou Mondello who was very friendly. I felt like he was genuinely interested in helping me find the right car and he did it in a way that made me feel at ease. Lou let me do the talking, he let me tell him what I wanted; he was the furthest thing there is from "pushy". I took the car for a test drive and fell in love with it, but I still had a few questions because I'd never owned an electric/hybrid vehicle. Lou answered all of my questions and despite originally not wanting to buy that day, we started talking about the price. I came into the dealership knowing about what I wanted to pay and Lou was able to get me that price as well as what I considered to be fair value for my trade-in. That sealed the deal. Unfortunately my trade-in was registered in another state and I needed to send off for a duplicate title to complete the paperwork. I really appreciated that Lou and the dealership were willing to work with me on that. While waiting for the title to arrive in the mail, Lou even offered to let me swap my old car for the new Camry and drive it off the lot early. The title came in the mail later that day but it was still a nice gesture. I would definitely recommend Toyota of Watertown if you're looking to buy a new Toyota, and Lou Mondello if you want friendly, helpful service. More
Was in market for a used car for teenage son. Toyota of Watertown had a vehicle we were interested in. My wife and I met with Nick on short notice, who pulled the car into a garage on a rainy night, allo Watertown had a vehicle we were interested in. My wife and I met with Nick on short notice, who pulled the car into a garage on a rainy night, allowed me to wait until weekend to have my mechanic take a look before we finalized the sale and overall was reasonable on the transaction. No car sale games. Just a reasonable discussion on what value of vehicle was and we were done. Finalizing paperwork with business office was equally stress free. Based on my experience I would recommend Nick and this Toyota dealership. More
