About a year ago we totaled our car and had to get another one. We shopped around, and around for the best price on a Highlander. We tend to hold onto cars for a long time---haven't shopped for one for 17 years. We were interested in a Prius, but also wanted to see the Camry hybrid, and compare them to other makes and models. Edwin was unbelievaly patient with four or five visits, as we thought about the Prius and tried to decide whether to get a new or used car. I really appreciated his expertise and help on test drives, his advice on availability of models and colors and ability to search for what we wanted and the total lack of sales pressure. Ultimately, we decided on a used car and were looking at the color I really wanted at another dealership and buying a different color at Toyota of Watertown. We chose the Toyota of Watertown 2010 Prius because of the experience we had during our search, and because it was a local business. Edwin had the car ready and waiting, went on a test drive with us, and stayed late to close the deal. Then everything worked smoothly the next day when we picked up the car (paperwork and inspection handled for us), and we're very happy with it. Maybe we'll trade in sooner next time, given the good experience we had (despite the fact that I know this car will last a long time!). We would definitely buy a car again from Toyota of Watertown. Having decided on the Prius V and having driven it at several other dealers in the area, I was looking for a place that would be convenient, that I could trust and that could offer good service. I was favorably impressed by my salesman, Jon, and others who worked with me at Toyota of Watertown. However, since the model and color of the car was not in stock it did take a few days to get the car. I understand that the popularity of the Prius makes it hard to quickly get the model you want. Even though, you managed to get my car in 4 days. Also, it is hard to accurately estimate the time it may arrive. This had me a little concerned as I was planning a trip the day I received the car. I do like my Prius V. It was comfortable driving and it was a pleasure learning about all the features as I drove to Albany. It made the trip go by quickly. The big bonus was that I did not have to fill the tank until I got back, and then there were still miles to spare. More
