Also if there is a B.S response to this review stating they haven’t had a customer with my name, the customer was my husband - we absolutely are real customers and we both will keep posting this review if the dealership decides to be dishonest and shady by deleting it. What should have been an exciting purchase for my husband has turned into an absolute nightmare for my entire family. Involving poor communication, a lack of accountability, and SERIOUS legal issues. Before purchasing, we couldn’t get clear answers about the service history of the truck we were purchasing. We had wanted to make sure that they checked the cam phasers and the shocks. We were told repeatedly that they just “didn’t have any records” but kept promising the vehicle was serviced and cleared of any issues.. this should have been the red flag that made us turn around and go elsewhere. Shortly after the purchase, we reported a concerning noise (which we told them were the cam phasers) and were met with repeated unanswered calls and voicemails to service supervisor Dave. We eventually dropped off our truck on September 4 and received virtually NO communication. When we demanded an answer as to why we were repeatedly just being sent to Dave’s empty voicemail without a callback or an update on the diagnostics of our truck, we actually found out that Dave was on a nice little vacay. During this complete mess we decided to contact our salesman Parker regarding a possible update. He advised us that our truck had actually been driven somewhere else for a second opinion, this was WITHOUT our knowledge or consent and in order to get any sort of answers as to where our truck was, we had to threaten contacting authorities to report theft. We were finally transferred to a customer advocate named Leon. Who initially still couldn’t tell us where our truck was located. We ended up finding and downloading an app to help us locate our vehicle… Chapman Ford (second opinion) ended up determining and advising them that it WAS indeed the cam phasers which we knew already. They were replaced by the Trucks Only service department.. BUT don’t get too excited…. the issue still persists! NEXT which is far more serious… the temporary registration provided to us by Trucks Only had expired on October 5th, when contacting Arizona MVD we were informed that they had absolutely NO record of our registration, the title or any other information regarding the truck we had purchased. Now, as of October 19 after multiple outreaches we STILL DO NOT HAVE OUR TITLE but guess what… neither does Trucks Only! Leon and the GSM Jaime informed us that Trucks Only has been repeatedly contacting a Nevada auction where they supposedly purchased the truck from, but that the auction has not responded to their request for the title. Initially they blamed the prior “owner” as if we gave a rats xxx whose fault it was… Did they just sell us a vehicle without ever having legal possession of it themselves? As a potential customer this sink in: TRUCKS ONLY WAS QUICK TO TAKE OUR LIEN FREE TRUCK AS A TRADE IN AND SELL US A TRUCK IN RETURN THAT, BASED ON THE UNRESOLVED TITLE ISSUE, RAISES SERIOUS QUESTIONS ABOUT WHETHER THIS DEALERSHIP EVEN HAD THE LEGAL RIGHT TO SELL AND TRANSFER OWNERSHIP OF IT. We have now been forced to file complaints with multiple agencies… the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, the Better Business Bureau, ADOT and our new lien holder while also taking steps to pursue legal action. We have raised SERIOUS concerns regarding the handling of our property, potential conversion of our property, and the legality of this sale overall. A dealership should not be able to take someone’s fully owned property, leave them chasing answers for weeks, and fail to have the title/registration of a vehicle they sold two months ago More

I hate vehicle shopping. I think we’ve all had experiences of high-pressure sales tactics, haggling back and forth, getting followed around the sales lot by over-zealous sale I think we’ve all had experiences of high-pressure sales tactics, haggling back and forth, getting followed around the sales lot by over-zealous salespeople, and the buying process taking hours longer than it should. I needed to buy a truck to pull a new 5th wheel, and I was dreading the experience. Knowing what I know now, though, I should have been looking forward to it. I spent several days online looking at trucks at various dealers in the Valley and just couldn’t believe what an over-priced and limited selection there was out there. Then I remembered Trucks Only. As soon as I went to their website, I knew I was in the right place. There were so many trucks to choose from and the prices were far better than at the car dealerships! I wanted to look in-person, so I went to the Mesa location. I was greeted by James when I got there. I found him to be very friendly and pleasantly low-pressure. He allowed my daughter and I to check out the trucks without being overbearing but still being close enough to answer any questions. I brought my adult daughter to help answer my questions (she’s a car/truck nut) and James never hesitated to let her answer when she had the answers to my questions. Talk about not having an ego! That may sound weird but, as a female going to buy a truck, you really expect to get talked down to, talked over, or just plain dismissed. None of that happened with James or anyone at Trucks Only Mesa. I also noticed that all their trucks were in great condition. James told me that the manager always makes sure that the vehicles they accept as trade-ins are in very good condition. I ended up getting a diesel truck that I am totally in love with and have absolutely no buyer’s remorse about. Especially since everything from the Kelly Blue Book to the Carfax report shows that the truck’s purchase price was spot-on and not at all over-priced. I’m also loving the free lifetime engine warranty and my truck’s twice a year suspension lift inspections. If you are in the market for a high-quality used truck and want respectful, friendly service and great pricing, Trucks Only Mesa is the only place to go. Ask for James. 😉 More
