He travels to automobile auctions in Florida and other southeastern states to bring back low mileage cars that were part of rental pools for vacationers, he says. "The cars down there seem to be more gently used by people on vacation than by busy road warriors who go from place to place at break-neck speed to get their jobs done. And new cars put into rental service down south seem to suffer less damage because of their better weather and road conditions down there versus the snowbound northeast. The windows and bodies don't suffer damage from flying road cinders, the tires aren't beaten up by pot-holes, and the under carriages are not damaged by chemicals spread onto icy roads."
Our EXCLUSIVE automobile consultant, who has been in the business since 1987, targets vehicles that have only been in service for six to 12 months and have been treated well as evidenced by their maintenance and service records. Our consultant physically goes to each auction site because he says you can't tell from a video or picture if there is body or interior damage. He also looks very carefully at the AutoCheck and CarFax history reports to evaluate the past ownership. Excellent service This is the 4th or 5th vehicle purchased through Tunkhannock Auto Mart and as always in the past they went above and beyond to get me in the truck I w This is the 4th or 5th vehicle purchased through Tunkhannock Auto Mart and as always in the past they went above and beyond to get me in the truck I wanted. I've always dealt with Eddie but on this day he was off however on his day off he was still part of the deal texting me and even calling me at one point to congratulate me on my new truck. I dealt with Kristian for my truck this time and he was excellent very helpful and went above and beyond for me. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the truck also even found extra money in the rewards account I've had from other vehicles purchased there to apply to my new truck that I didn't even know about. Overall if you're looking for a dealership that values you as a costumer and will do what it takes for you to get the vehicle you want stop in and see the staff at Tunkhannock Auto Mart can't say enough good things about the employees that work there. When you're ready, call Eddie.. I am a person that absolutely dislikes the whole vehicle buying process. Going into it puts me into a verbal combative mood knowing it's going to be a I am a person that absolutely dislikes the whole vehicle buying process. Going into it puts me into a verbal combative mood knowing it's going to be a back and forth numbers game. No matter what deal is struck I always leave feeling beat up and defeated. This time our sales professional Eddie had me calm and relaxed through the process. He was great to deal with and we had a good time. Eddie also went the extra mile by getting our truck in for a last minute request for a trailer hitch. We really appreciate the attention he gave us which was pretty much the better part of the afternoon. We are repeat customers and will be again. Thanks Eddie! More
