Purchased truck August 2017. Hello everyone. Read Sutliff’s negative reviews to get a true picture of their service and treatment of their customers. Purchased truck August 2017. My wife and I purchased from salesman Dan Euske a ZZ1 Silverado with tons of features including but not limited built in garage door opener, rear reverse camera, running boards, 4X4, V8, etc. etc. Everyone was extremely nice and appeared to be your friend. When it came time to pick up our truck on a very rainy day and we started going over and setting up the features we noticed the remote garage door opener feature we were sold on was missing from the truck. Dan Euske says oops I’m sorry your truck doesn’t have it. It was raining bad and he said to go home with your wife and he was to have his manager call us to figure out what we could do. Later that day we noticed another major issue. The truck that we had picked up was not the ZZ1 we had purchased. We were told several times by Dan Euske that the truck was a ZZ1 and had a remote garage opener. Not hearing anything back from his manager I called in. His manager is Chris Walters, User Car Manager. This guy was like a light switch. Friendly as can be pre-sale. After sale not so much. He yelled and cussed at me several times and called me a liar. I spoke with Jeff Millar who is basically the General Manager. Jeff gave us little room to make things right. He said we could turn the truck back in but would never honor features or model of truck we purchased. He should have given us a ZZ1 like we purchased and made sure it had the features we were sold on. My wife and I took a loss on the truck. Fast forward to now. Also told by Dan Euske that our truck had extended, full bumper to bumper warranty that literally covered everything until September 2018. This turns out to be a lie. While bending over to pickup something in our driveway I noticed the whole underside of our truck was rusting out. From back to front. Thinking we are under warranty we contacted Sutliff who put Chris Walters on the phone again and was abusive again to me in the phone conversation and said it would cost us to fix it. He even went into detail and said we didn’t make anything on your truck and again called me a liar. The truck hardly has been driven. It sits 5 out of the 7 days of the week and only has 17,000 miles on it and is rusting out bad! After some fighting with General Motors and Sutliff. Sutliff agreed to fully restore our truck. Their full restore job was to spray black paint over the rust from back to front under our truck! It looks awful and will not stop the rust. I have reported the abuse and issues to Jeff Millar and General Motors and neither party will do anything about our truck. We are left stuck with a spray painted and rusting out truck. Neither party will also do anything about my treatment by Chris Walters. They won’t even apologize. I even went is far as to try and talk to Jonathan Casey who is higher up than Jeff and asked several times over the past year to talk to Mr. Sutliff and they refuse and/or I never get a phone call every time. We have given Sutliff plenty of opportunity to take care of us and win us as customers. They claim they strive for 100% customer satisfaction but don’t even try. We even gave them 3 options. Number 1 Fix the rust bucket of a truck they sold us the proper way. Number 2 give us our money back we paid for the truck and take it back. Number 3 let us trade in the truck and do what they should have done a year ago and give us our ZZ1 and a rust free, quality truck for the price we paid. Silverado’s are supposed to be built like a rock. Anyone reading this if you think it’s ok for a dealer to lie, oversell and under deliver, abuse their customers, and not back the truck that has hardly been driven since purchase than by all means shop at Sutliff. Everyone else run away now. I’m always willing to give Sutliff a chance to make this right and would be more than happy to talk and remove this review upon being satisfied. More
